Launa breathed in the smells of the flower garden as she walked down the dampened path. Her bright red umbrella sheltered her small figure from the rain. She arrived at the rusted iron gates that sealed the inner grounds of the great castle from the outside world. As she pushed one open, it screeched loudly as if to tell her grandmother of her arrival.
Once inside of the main building she picked up the candle from a small stand next to the door. Holding it close to her lips, she whispered something and it burst into flames of orange and gold. She placed it back on the stand and took it with her as she followed the worn red carpet of the grand staircase upwards. After so many steps the staircase split in two and without any hesitation she followed the wind which blew through an open window eastward. She kept on walking in the warm glow of her candle until she reached a large wooden door. She took a deep breath and pushed...
