You know, this guy right here, except his hair is down this time instead of slicked back and in black and white instead of oh-so-pretty colours. Why "Beta"? Because he's my "trial" Agas, a.k.a my very first ever Agas. Yeah, believe it or not once upon a time this is what he looks like.

Basically, Beta-Agas is almost everything my current Agas is NOT. He's always serious, stoic, cold, somewhat cruel, very stern, and does not appreciate humour AT ALL. You tease him a little and he throws his sword at you (pointy things sure does hurt a lot when they hit you) and probably threaten to eat you just for a good measure even though he doesn't really eat people because that's Aesma's job. And both his hair and eyes are blue, not the blonde-hair-and-purple-eyes-ala-Genjyo-Sanzo look he's sporting right now. The only thing the two have in common is that they are both very very stubborn.

In a nutshell...
Beta-Agas: Demonic non-deformed Phantom of the Opera minus all the sappiness, music, melodrama, and Punjab lasso (Agas does not use a lasso, doy!). Or rather, if you're familiar of The Agas Saga, think of that Agas, but remove all of his sarcasm and sense of humour and replace them with a complete non-nonsense attitude. This guy is downright MEAN.

Practicing my black and white and toning because I just bought a stockpile of screentone and I need to practice using it. D_A does not like digital toning, even though traditional/manual screentones are expensive and a pain in the neck to use. Please excuse the proportion fail of the hand. That hand is practically about as wide as his face.
