More about this item
Meet Tessa, a secondary character on my Portuguese/English game I’m working on…

Tessa is a 30…th year old happy widow. She married at the early age of 15 in an arranged wedding, so that her family and she could emigrate to England. Her husband was quite the violent abusive and an alcoholic and she suffered for 15 year all of his abuse, a couple of years ago, he literally popped out his own eyes by a alcohol induced hemorrhage and died, leaving Tessa a very happy, filthy rich widow.

Tessa found love but it was a very complicated scandal and she ended up being forsaken by her whole family due to having a lover (in her family, a woman who marries a second time is considered adulterous).

Tessa is quiet fun and kind, loving to talk and stuff. She’s a lot braver than Alic, actually offering to protect him from zombies and throwing rocks at wolves when they’re being chased around. She’s not as handy as him but she’s quite strong and intelligent.

Tessa holds a switchblade and lighter that can be used in the game to solve several puzzles. She’s the second character in game who understands what Sal is saying, since she, herself, used to be Portuguese.

Next up, I’m going to draw little “Sal”.

The happy widow thing works as a irony actually, as it is later discovered in the game. She's free from her husband, she can live again, discover the world and not just be someone's servant, as she's starting to be "happy" karma turns around and bites her in the backside.

Now she's free from all of her husbands tirany but she's forced to make a dire choice in life that is what drags her to the story.

Basically she has to chose between the love of the man she loves (but doesn't trust) or the acceptance of her family who doomed her for 15 years of living misery by the side of a man she didn't love.

She also looks tired because of all she suffered before her husbands death. Also because I was trying to make her look older XD...
