Subject: Re: Aveyond 3 News - Splitting into Chapters (Don't worry, you won't pay more!) by shaz on 2009/5/15 18:08:10 #1 - don't know yet. I suspect the difficulty mode will stay the same. #2 - you can skip chapters, but you'd have to start a new game for the next chapter you play. Completing ch1 will give you a file to begin ch2 with, so you can continue your game or start a new game. Completing ch2 will give you a file to begin ch3 with. You could skip ch1, start a new game in ch2, and continue that game in ch3. But you can't complete ch1, skip ch2, then use your ch1 save file in ch3. I hope I haven't confused you. You can play or skip whatever chapters you wish. But if you wish to continue a saved game in the next chapter, you must have completed the previous chapter. #3 - This isn't official yet, but I THINK the way it will happen is that new games with each chapter will have characters starting at a higher level. It may not necessarily be the level you'd expect to be at when finishing the previous chapter - might be lower, since you still need to fight a lot of the same monsters and can gain levels with the new quests. Again, this may NOT be the way it happens. Amanda and I are focussing on getting chapter 1 completed and ready for testing. Once it's out we'll move our attention to chapter 2. |
