It's crazy because the file wasn't there before I reinstalled the game, because I remember checking. After I downloaded the reinstallation files from the site again, it mentioned that Aveyond 2 hadn't yet been uninstalled. So the program thought it was there, but I couldn't find it. I currently have AVG free edition virus scanner, and I checked its back logs. Here's what it lists: Severity: Infection Virus Name: Trojan horse Generic4_c.ITG Path to File: C:\Program Files\Aveyond 2\Aveyond2.exe Here's my next question: Why would my anti-virus claim this is a Trojan? I have the option to "restore" on AVG, but I'm afraid that when it automatically scans again it'll remove it once more. I'm currently trying to find a way to tell the program simply not to remove it at all...considering it's still safe! Is there any reason that Aveyond 2 would be linked to a Trojan? |
