Anyway, I notice that 'love' is used to describe any attraction between characters, whether or not it's actually real love. Realize that in fairy tales the setting goes: handsome guy meets pretty girl, they fall in love, get married and live happily ever after?It's quite obvious that when there's only physical attraction, it's more lust than love... Eros and Psyche is one of the very few happily married couples in the classical myth, I think. The others being Hades & Persophone, and the pair of old mortal couple Baucis and Philemon. |
