I applaud JK Rowling for managing to keep the Harry Potter universe consistently in the 90s. Seriously, I have no idea what's up with those tech muckups in manga. I mean, real time progresses, in-story time does NOT necessarily do so. The Superhero franchise is an entirely different thing, though. I don't even know how the timeline in Superman or Batman is supposed to go anymore. There's a bajillion time-travels, deities wrecking time, characters dying and then coming back to life somehow, magic, crossovers... It's a mess for n00bs like me who only know little bits and pieces of everything from Wikipedia and reading the comics here and there. |
