Subject: Should minors be punished? by theone on 2010/12/8 12:54:49 Well, it's a pretty controversial topic. But first, I want your opinion of something that happened in my neighborhood which made me wonder about this. It's not on the news much and you'll see why. A 14 year old guy raped a 7 year old as she went to the grocery and later said he did it as an experiment. The mom of the guy who did this says he should be put in jail. The people in the neighborhood agree but there is no law in place. So he gets away scot-free. Now the family of the girl are appealing to the country for retribution. Personally, I think at 14 you are mature enough to know what to do so he should be punished as if he was an adult. What do you guys think? |
