No discussion about the battle with Ahriman, no real action to show that he actually loves or cares about her... Rhen might be flattered to be treated with respect; but there's no depth in that, and there's not enough reason why she would switch allegiance for him. Another thing, the characters' age and appearance also play an important role in how I like the pairings. Dameon, although about the same age as Rhen, looks almost three times her age- making the pairing look something like a pedo. Same goes with Serah and Snow from FFXIII. Just sayin' |
