Chapter 10! Yay! Sorry I took forever to update.
Chapter 10: The Mountain King and the Snow Queen
Now, before going to the Sun Shrine, the group decided to confront the Mountain King first.
Mountain King's Realm
Rhen: So, what makes you fight with your wife?
Mountain King (MK) : Why do you I need to tell you that?
Rhen: Because we, uhh, want to make you be in peace again.
MK : I don't need your help. Go away!
MK : I said go away!
Rhen: *whispers* This won't work. You guys have any ideas?
Talia: Keep it simple, kid. When talking can't be done...VIOLENCE IS THE ANSWER!!! MOUNTAIN KING, TELL US OR I'LL BEAT YOU TO DEATH!!!
MK: You'll beat me? How? You may not know this, but I'm the-
Talia: You've chosen your fate. Now, follow it, DIE!! *charges at MK at beats him to (near) death*
MK: GUWWAAARGGHHH!!! Alright, I'LL TELL YOU WHY!!
Rhen: So, why are you fighting with your wife?
MK: A LOT! Bills, works, time, and shopping money! Does she want to buy the whole mall when shopping?
Rhen: It's so...I dunno what to say.
MK: And the biggest problem : She believes in the existence of fairies! That's so outrageous! I got so mad, even more when she asked for 2,000,000 Gold to go shopping!
Rhen: That actually sounds like the most trivial matter...Well, I think that's enough.
Dwarf: The Snow Queen's Palace is in the east.
Rhen: Thanks. Wow, I don't even need to ask a question.
Snow Queen's Palace
Rhen: So why do you fight with your husband?
Snow Queen (SQ): A LOT! Bills, works, time, and shopping money! He's so stingy, doesn't he know that shopping a lot is a main need for a woman?
Lars: It is? Shopping's main function is to get enough food as well as other things to live. Spending on any more is just a waste of money.
SQ: Men just don't understand that! Look, he won't even lend me such a small amount of money like 2,000,000 gold! How could he be so stingy about that tiny amount of money??
Rhen: Small amount...?
SQ: Yes, that's so small, right? And I haven't told you the biggest reason of our fight.
Lars: Because you believe in fairies and you don't?
SQ: Exactly! How could anyone not believe in fairies? That's the same as not believing in me!
Talia: How so?
SQ: Just play Aveyond 2! My sisters are all fairies, except me and big sis Heptitus, dunno why we aren't fairies. Heck, I don't even know who our dad is!
Rhen: Aveyond 2, eh. Well, I'd probably be dead then and my only playable descendant would be a haughty snob. Not a good thought.
200 years later, in AV2
Nicolas: Did someone just talk bad about my great self?
Back to AV1
Rhen: Speaking of AV2, aren't you supposed to be the caring and understanding Nymph of Compassion?
SQ: Meh, that's in that game. I don't have to play that role right now.
Rhen: Okay, whatever. Wait, then isn't your mother the Oracle?
SQ: Yes. My mom is usually called the Oracle.
Talia: Where is she?
SQ: In the Sun Shrine east from here.
Rhen: Well, thanks.
SQ: Oh, and extra info. Just recently, an ice girl attacked me but I managed to trap her in the basement.
Northern Isle, near the way to Aveyond
Rhen: This is the way, right?
Talia: If my memory serves me right, it always do, this should be the way.
Lars: Is the reason as to why you joined us not because you forgot the way?
Talia: Argh, damn robot. JUST FORGET WHAT YOU NEED TO FORGET!!
Lars: Unfortunately, it is not categorized as a file I need to delete.
Talia: Just forget it, dammit!
And so the party has finally entered Aveyond. What will await them in the holy land? To be continued...
