You (1) listen to the music and put it in notes manually or (2) using the midi as a template and do the editing. I am lazy person so I usually do both... lol because it is easier and less time consuming. With Sibelius it helps to change the audio (in midi file) to something which I can read. Then I transcribe in a new blank sheet something which I can play. And finally to adjust the difficulty according to the performer. ***** I was lucky back in college to have a brilliant violinist and that virtuoso whom I mentioned earlier. We performed on stage after just a few rounds of rehearsal on that day itself... I remember the gasps from the audiences when they heard One Winged Angel. xD Good old times. lol |
