I forgot what Scarecrow looked like I assumed that glasses dude was someone important, because he get to be judge, but the movie didn't really say who he is and I just ignored it.

About that, I just recognized Cillian Murphy as the judge, and remembered a mention of him being cast as Scarecrow in Begins. Was able to recognize him because I've watched Inception for, like, 5 times beforehand and noticed most of its main cast lurking all over the place in TDKR.

You watched Inception 5 times? Lucky you. I haven't even watched it once. I only got to watch Sucker Punch.

Speaking of Sucker Punch,IMO tha movie is trying to be Inception and Final Fantasy/Skyrim/Call of Duty/Assassin's Creed/(insert big-name action/fantasy RPG here) all at the same time and as a result failed at story's level. I mean, visually it's super spiffy and awesome, yeah. Cool effects, cool action chicks, and all that. But plot... What plot? I feel like I'm watching a game trailer. When that whole "Find knife, lighter, etc etc etc to escape" thing happened, I almost expected to see a dialogue box saying "quest added to journal" pop up

If I want to watch spiffy effects I can go to Vimeo or Youtube to watch game trailers and gameplay videos and professional visual effect demo reels. When I go to watch a movie I want a sensible story darnit >____________<

Anyway, yeah, I think I mentioned it before (though I'm not sure whether it's in this forum or not) that Sucker Punch is an epic fail imitation of Inception, and they try to bolster the "cool effect" by mixing in elements from popular fantasy RPGs, but failed to deliver the plot or develop the characters at all... wait, how did you know this stupid movie is an Inception rip-off if you never watched Inception?

I've heard enough about Inception and how the crazy dream sequence thingy work.

The Dark Knight? The Joker is quite a terrifying clown in this portrayal. Or are you referring to the more recent movies? In which case, I can't help you because I don't think we have any clown-themed horror movies for a while.

Anyway, I don't like horror movies, since most of them seem uses lots of still suspense, that is, we have lots of pointless scenes where practically NOTHING goes on, except for creepy music and eerie lighting effects, with no other purpose than to try and scare the audience.

Anyway, I finally watched Brave, and it exceeds my expectations. It's probably the first movie I've seen in EONS that does not emphasize romance (unless you count the scene's between the heroine's parents, which don't really count). And for some reason, I don't mind dramas over family/friendship bond as much as romance, which America seems to insist on including in almost every media they could find; so while there are still plenty of sappy 'heartwarming' moments, I could actually enjoy those scenes (as opposed to my usual reaction to 'heartwarming' romance, which goes like "meh" at best, and "WHY IS THIS SCENE. EVEN ALLOWED TO APPEAR?!?!" at worst). The graphics were excellent, and they really paid a great attention to details, such as the textures of hairs, furs, grass, rocks, and water. I especially love how they renderred each strand of Merida's (and later Elinor's) hair to move smoothly when she moves around.

Yes, that's why I'm asking for some really AWESOMESAUCE movies. Usually movies for 13+ are full of those scenes. >.> So I want something seriously SCARY.

No, the The Dark Knight is not horror. It's not even close. It's just a dark action flick.

As for The Exorcist, are you talking about the recent one? Or do you mean the original one? Either way, I didn't really find them scary. But if you scare easily, then you might.

Of course Dark Knight isn't a horror movie, it's just that the Joker was the only one that came into mind when you requested movies featuring monster clowns. You might be able to find some references here though.

I didn't like Prometheus. I found it boring and the only interesting thing was the very end of the movie.

Evil dead I believe is a comedy-ish movie with zombies. Seriously, it has Bruce Campbell who's is as campy as you can get. Don't expect Exorcist from this.

A movie centered around a clown that is supposedly very scary is It. I know one person who watched it when she was little and to this day has a fear of clowns. Also, it's by Stephen Kings, a master of horror novels.

Today, watched Total Recall (remake), Expendables 2, and Bourne Legacy.

Expendables 2 is as typical testosterone filled action movie as you can possibly get. Meaning storyline is secondary. Since I was in the mood for an actiony film, I liked this movie. The old guys they got work surprisingly well together and I cracked up when Chuck Norris appeared with western music in the background.

Bourne Legacy: Ugh. It felt extremely incomplete like they didn't have any plot so they filled it up with a too long chase scene at the end. There was no conclusion.

Total Recall: *facepalm* No. I liked the original a lot more than this. It was boring, the action scenes were boring, and the plot was just *shakes head*.

Alright. Will wait for some other reviews of Prometheus. 'Cuz right now I'm confused.

Evil Dead, no. Okay. Um... Psycho? I've heard it's nice.
