Are you actually in battle when you're trying to open the battle menu? Your screen should look like the one Argoyle posted.


They are just something that is on the site, to show how active someone is. (the HP and MP) and just edit your original post, don't double post.

Hmmm...perhaps your screen is getting cut off for some reason.

Try pressing F4 to toggle between full-screen and windowed mode to see if you can see the arrows in either view.

Don't double post. Maybe you should resize your screen resolution (Just a guess, not sure if it'd work).

Any problems with your monitor's resolution?

HP means health point(s). It means the points of your health. example, 05/100 means your health now is 5 points while your full health is 100 points.
MP means mana point(s). You spend mana when you use spells. example, 05/100 means your mana now is 5 points while your full mana is 100 points.
Have you play another RPG before?
