The PM box that we type in is really too small, any way we can enlarge it?

Another more important issue... Can we have pop-up notifications for our PMs? Or at least an option to choose whether we want pop-up notifications for PMs in our profiles... I keep missing PMs cos there are no longer any pop-up notofications and as a result I am uber slow in replying...

I want to second the request for a larger PM box. The current one is so small it is hard to use.

I have a little red popup number next to my mailbox at the top of the page that shows up just fine. Does not everyone have this?
The only problem I have with the mail is how the messages start expanding with each additional reply. So I have to continually start new letters, or deal with and ever wider letter till it fills the whole screen and you have to scroll left to right just to read the message.

I have that too, what I was talking about was how we used to have new little windows popping up saying - You got 1 new Private Message!

And we could choose to turn it on/off to, I remember...

I find the PM box/window too small and inconvenient for sending PMs. Is there any way to make the box larger, perhaps the same size we get when we create new posts?

I agree. Sometimes, I end up writing lots in PMs so it becomes difficult to read when my words are confined to such a small textbox. Besides, most people's monitor resolutions are quite large now so expanding the size of the textbox in sending PMs wouldn't be such a huge issue.

I've looked through the part of the system that I have access to, and it's not something I have the ability to change. Amanda/Bryce would have to take a look at it.

I think the trickiest bit is that it can be launched from a few different areas, and if you don't identify and change all of them, it might cause problems. Don't read that as "it can't be done" though.

why don't you just make the PM box fullscreen when you open it up?

That doesn't change the size of the text box.

In Google Chrome, you can expand/enlarge your PM box. The default size may not be changed, but at least there is an alternative.

However, I do hope that the default size can be expanded to a much larger size. When I am working on a maximized window, the left space isn't even occupied.
