Hmm, so in Chapter 2 we can either import a previous save file or restart a new game? But won't it be harder for those who restart a new game, since they would start from level 1?

Kirroha, it is also possible to make the chapter 2 characters start at a default level other than 1, so we won't have to level up all that much.

I was going to ask the same thing. So does that mean that we get to start an average level (if not, then an acceptable one) if we restart a new game in Chapter 2?

The testers don't have that information, yet, but I assume that would be a practical solution.

I really hope the chapters will be as hard as Aveyond 2. I loved that game as it gave some of us seasoned rpg fantatics a fairly good challenge. If possible, make Aveyond 3 even harder or with the option to adjust.

Oh and out of curiosity, how will the gaming portals receive the chapters as most of them except for Reflexive charge 20 bucks for a title. Will you wait for every 2 chapters to be released before releasing as an entire game for the portals? It doesn't bother me as I will be purchasing direct from amaranthia but some people for some reason rely on other portals.

no, IMO, it will be released in chapters, but they will not put 20 bucks for a chapter as amanda will give them the price of 10 bucks!

Check out the testers feedback. Most of them have said it's challenging. And that you're not told exactly what to do and where to go.

And the portals will most likely get the individual chapters, their price however Amanda doesn't have control over. She might be able to suggest a price though.

Aveyond 3 will provide a choice of difficulty levels, just like Aveyond 2 did. If you like a challenge, you can play on one of the more difficult settings

Well, almost always. Because battle isn't my favourite part - the story and quests are more interesting.

The key is to level up, girl. If enemies are too difficult, simply defeat simplier foes until you are strong enough to take on the harder savages.
Oh and don't forget to save for the best equipment, and learn how to use magic effectively. Most enemies can be put down quickly with the right magic, experimentation is the key.

I always learn how to use my magic effectively, i guess. I'm always too lazy to level up, so it's the only way I survive.

You are definitely right, Ryan.

I will say that effective and efficient use of skills and spells is really important this time around...at least more so, for me, than the other Aveyonds.

Sigh... I still can't wait for Chappie 1 to come out. I'm extremely impatient.

I can't wait for the first chapter to come out and I like that if we don't like the whole chapter thing, the rest of the games won't be like that. But I have a quick question, I'm kind of new here and I don't think I was here when Aveyond 2 came out. How long will we have to wait until other game sites get the chapters of Aveyond 3?

@IF: Many people get 'credits' in other game portals, so they pay less for the games. It's sometimes when people are more used to buying all the games from one game portal.

Answer what you want to answer, some I've seen before, but I didn't see an answer:

~ Let's say you finish chapter one in Easy mode, does that mean you have to play chapter 2 in easy mode as well?

~ What if you want to skip a chapter, is that possible? Like the Sims example that was given before (buy chapter 1 and then skip 2 but buy 3)? If you have to buy the games in order, I guess people will be warned that they have to buy the other chapters first?

~ If you don't want to continue with your old character and start over, are the creatures all weaker or do you have to train then 'till you reach a decent level? Or does the new Mel in chapter 2 automatically start at a higher level?
