Hey there,

Looking for some advice on how to defeat a certain pesky witch who loves making trouble. I've used all sorts of things to ... er ... enhance my team, but she keeps [highlight to see spoiler] calling in the frogs.

Any advice?

Te'ijal's drain, lucky charm on Stella.
Use her for healing and reviving.
Also you have to be at least level 16, so Stella could learn how to make a bigger heal to the party )

Try to keep your hp at max and you'll defeat her in less than 2 minutes

It'll prevent you from all aliment status, so she'll be prevented from curse too

You get the lucky charm in Ghe'dhare.

Also, if you searched Istir forest and the caves in Istir forst, you'll have the blizard ring. Use it on the frogs. Its effective. As for the certain witch, Just keep attacking her and have Stella to heal every second.

Have you been to AV and "washed" Excalibur in the fontain?

Oooh, missed the charm. Found out about the gaming distraction too late.

I'll try the ring, though. At this point, I'm just wandering around, leveling up as much as I can.

Edit: Ding, dong, the witch is dead ... no, wait ... only temporarily defeated ... <SIGH>

Yep, exactly. They do mean fought until she laughed and left where Edward suggests they talk to his father about it. So, you don't actually get the first key yet until the second chapter.

what level are you in, firstly? and in what mode? easy? normal? expert?

You could buy some Holy Scrolls from Stormbend. Or maybe you should level up more. But I think lvl 16 or 17 will do.

And the blizzard ring would be useful! Cause Heptitus summons frogs. ( From Istir Forest, or Stormbend, I don't know exactly ).

She can both curse and poison your party, so I would advise you to put Serpent Amulets on everyone. Being cursed may reduce someone's attack power until they are healed, but at least they won't be losing HP.

Use Mel's Trip skill on Heppy every couple turns, to stop her from attacking.

Use Te'ijal's Drain skill to both hurt Heppy and heal Te'ijal.
