A patch for LoT is still a few weeks away yet, so don't hold out waiting for it.

If I didn't use the Bomber eggs in the Lord of Twilight and open the boarded caves, will I still be able to do this in Gates of Night? Because I relied on the Autosave and when the game ended, the autosave saved the ending and I didn't have any save files and I also didn't want to start from the beginning, so I was wondering whether I could still access the boarded entrances (for example, the one in the Darkthrop Keep) with the Bomber eggs in Gates of Night.

Sorry, just another quick question: The "Secret Passage" in the Dwarven Mine that one of the dwarves mentioned will also only be accessible in Gates of Night, right? Just checking to see if I missed anything. Thanks again.

Hi im halfway through LoT and as far as i know didnt miss anything so far. But I was just wondering whether there are things that you can achieve only in this chapter of the game. For example quests like reclaiming the stolen soul.

Well, there are some quests in LoT that can only be finished in Chapter 2.

The stolen soul can be reclaimed in Chapter 1.

And the stolen soul is not reclaimable in Chapter 2 when you finally return to Ghed'ahre, so you have to accomplish it while you are still with Te'ijal and Galahad in Ghed'ahre.

exactly that is so right... that quest is miss able. what I wanna know is are there any othere things in LoT which are quite missable like above quest??

I've heard that Lord Burnaby's quest with Hanna is missable, and you can't complete it in Chapter 2. So is the pickaxe one in Gheldon.

There's also the quest with the little boy and his dog Rowf. That's also another quest that can only be completed in chapter 1.

oh rats! I didn't realize that I had to get the soul in this chapter... oh well, it's a good excuse to play it again

Quests that you cannot complete in chapter 2 are:

Lord Burnaby & Hanna
Tad & Rowf
Pickaxe
Willette's milk pail
Gladamere's soul
Gretchen's spiders

If you don't do these in chapter 1, some of them will just not be mentioned in chapter 2, and some will work out differently.

Tiniponi, is this list in the FAQ? Is it worth adding it?

Shaz, I looked and all the side quests are listed in the FAQ, but none of them are marked as can only be done in Chapter 1.

I think it would be a big help to add these Chapter 1 only quests to the FAQ. I am playing a third time to try and tidy up all of the Chapter 1 only side quests - just call me anal

My goodness ... only one person needs to suggest adding them. As soon as I saw shaz's post I edited the FAQ, then came back and read the rest.

Ragama-make sure to do the soul quest while you're in Gheldahare because you can't go back later in LoT...I've had to start my game again (mainly because I wanted to try every quest )!
