If you are to look at the roster, its actually the first person in the guild's list is the founder. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yup, each guild roster is listed in order of members joining the guild: oldest members at the top, newest members at the bottom.

Hello,
I'm not sure how to go about starting to join in with other folk here at the site. I've probably spent two hours just wandering around. After having started a cottage page - and wondering if I'll ever learn the coding skills to decorate (I have the idea to make a background of sorts so that one would feel they were walking through woods and meadows), i decided to see what this Guild idea was all about and came across the Druids Guild description. Knowing me it will take forever to actually experience Guild life, but I just wanted to greet those whom I may one day join.

You join a guild when you have 1000 gold.
The guilds are something like groups in Amaranthia. There are 5 guilds. Each guild is a bit different. If you need more help, just post in this topicSorry if this explanation is corny, and dear druids, sorry to post like this in your thread. I'm sorry.

grisselmay: 1000 gold is a lot, however, the more involved and active you are in discussions and things on the site, the sooner you will find yourself able to join a guild But please remember, being active in discussions is one thing, but posting spam to get gold is a no-no on the site.

The Druids sound like peaceful and nice people. I'm just not sure if it would be the right place for me. I have a long way to go before getting guilded, though.
