I'm kinda confused after the bridge scene, with Luciana and the bird. Just went somewhere east, and encountered a monster. But it killed me in no time. I'm level 9. What should I do? Do I need to pass it? Or it's optional?

Yup, it's optional!
I recommend you save before an encounter that looks dangerous, although you may as well keep going even if you die - you only lose 10% of your money and at this point it's unlikely you have a lot.

Can I suggest you to download the game again?
I've just uploaded version 1.6 and although this particular creature won't change, I've added a magical crystal that restores all your HP and MP!

I've been playing it for a little more than an hour, it looks very good so far.

It's great fun to be able to play as Luciana again. Now I know what she meant by "I will own them all" at the end of LF1. And we get Rosa back! Yay!

I haven't finished the first dungeon yet, but it looks outstanding. One of the best -and prettiest- first dungeons you've made.

I've just found a way to beat the Abyssal Lamias with my characters around level 15, and I'm currently exploring the ancient city. Seems like there are quite a few optional battles in this dungeon. I wonder if I'll find a way to beat the Temptress and her comrades...

Thanks for the offer, I'm doing fine right now. I've completed the first dungeon and I believe I managed to defeat every single enemy I found, even the Legend Devourer and the Temptress encounter. It was actually less difficult than I thought it would be, Ice Jail and Paralysis were true lifesavers.

I'm currently wandering around the desert and fighting Gigas Hydras. It was good to see Zanbard again. Seems like he hasn't lost his habit of using his teleport spell when you least expect it.

You did a good job with those powerful monsters ^^

In LF2 strategy and enemy knowledge are the key.

I've reached the Arvendel apartments. I've got to take a break from computer games right now, but I can say that it's a very good dungeon indeed.
I love the cutscenes, too. Guidibba looks... scary...

I love fighting powerful monsters (Shark Slaughterer, Eternal Warriors) without my strongest characters, it's a very enjoyable challenge. Herbert can be proud of himself.

Guidibba (and Hondler) ARE scary lol

I picked Herasia for Herbert's team (the game picked Joshua and Askhbar automatically). None of the characters in Herbert's team had a very high level. Admittedly, I did give Herbert a good weapon (one of Baretta's artifacts, I think) and a good suit of armor (Galleon armor), because there's a difference between "taking on a challenge" and "being suicidal".

The fight against the Shark Slaughterer was very enjoyable because once again, none of the characters (Guanidia, Petula, Wendala, Rosa) were especially strong... Except maybe Wendala, but we all know she's a lot less powerful underwater.

Yeah, fighting underwater is quite hard for a human (or even an undead looking like a human XD)

Arvendel is the big dungeon of the game - good luck!

hello everyone!
Ive asked this on the Aldorlea forums too.. but havent had any luck yet. I am under the burning house and I got through the maze to the flame monster, but I cant kill it! I only manage a measly 2000 hp a turn, and it regenerated 3000 a turn!! I tried using ice/water powders too, but they seem extremely weak. Can anyone help?

Hmmm you need to complete LF1 - only that.
Then play LF2 and use IMPORT in the menu.

Hi. I was wondering if you have to import the files from LF1 to complete all the quests in LF2?
Like the beauty contest where you need the bikini and I read somewhere that skill dead speak and telekanisis are needed for some quests but when the group meets back up she no longer has those skills.

hmmmm importing does add things to the game (logically).... the beauty contest cant be done in lf2 though

Thanks. If you don't import will she learn those 2 skills again? I have a bunch of quests that I have no idea how to solve. The missing girl, finding the necklace, find the yellow flowers etc. I was following the walkthrough at the games home site but it only goes up to the 2nd chapter I think. I'm just affraid of finishing the 2nd chapter and not being able to go back to finish those quests. Hopefully they add more soon after it's been out longer and they have a side quest guide.
