because think of 3 year olds. they're usually immature, but aren't hurting anyone. hurting people and being immature are different things, though it's hard to explain.
and age truly doesn't matter to me. in fact, if someone's older then you and you're good friends, then why not call them another, whatever they are?(grandma, mom, dad, grandpa) then you're just like family! plus, having age differences is usually a good thing. then younger amaranthians can always turn to older ones for help or guidence with something that's bugging them. truly, everyone is like family on here, and everyone has close bonds with their family, no matter what age. like sanshark and victor. sanshark is like another mom to me, a third one, since i my friends mom is also kinda my mom. and victor, well he's like a brother. he can be very annoying and stubborn, but also kind and giving.
that's just how i think of everyone on the site, though. so not everyone will think this way, but it's still a good way to look at things like this.

@v: it depends on the thread and what type of game. Sure, SH is pretty much "what ever goes"

But if there's a game going on, then the general/unspoken rule is to follow the rules of the game right? Like let's look at the "arrow" game. what if someone just came in and started spamming that particular thread with "hi~" "what are you doing" etc., i bet some people will get mad or annoyed because someone just budged in and interrupted the game with their spam.

But instead, if the thread was exactly that: just spamming whatever you want, than it's fine.

I don't consider being silly and having fun as immature. Immature is acting without thought. Not considering what you say before you speak. Not minding your manners. So long as you are considerate of other people's feelings, have fun.

Did I ever post incorrectly? All the trouble started because I was posting "nonsence" in "replentish your gold". If I did that in as you said in "Arrow" then yes I was 100% worng.

BUT sence I did it in a topic that had absolutely no topic other than raise gold will you admit that what I did was fine and I did not deserve the treatment I recieved?

And please @ all I am NOT trying in no way to heat up a cooled down situation I am just trying to get someone to admit that what I did and where I did it was fine.

No one should have been flamed/insulted/etc. for using SH to replenish the gold since the admin allowed it as a temporary measure to regain gold lost from the crash. There were bad blood on both sides though that unfortunately carried on to other parts of the board. Therefore, no one is really innocent if they participated in the 'fight'.

but, let's get back on the topic of age since this gold discussion should really be dead now as SH is back to zero gold.

Please no more discussions about gold. It's done and over with now. Let's move on.

Getting back on topic, I don't judge people by their age, but by their maturity. I've seen 12-year olds be considerate and well-mannered to others than 30-year olds and can carry on intelligent conversations without blatantly insulting other people.

I didnt know I was off topic sorry. I was talking about immaturity. I agree with Panda I have many friends and even co-workers who are 15 to 20 years younger than me they are totally great people.

As I said previously, as long as people are respectful, friendly and helpful, age doesn't matter in fact.
After that, it's more a question of feelings... in my opinion

I don't really think there's anything wrong with people here not being in a certain age group. I think people get to here more opinions from different age gaps[ for example, between 10 and 20]. Besides, if we all have similar interests, there shouldn't be a problem. But it should be ok to just feel surprised I guess ^^

As i told before the age differences is nothing to matter in here!!

Having many friends with different ages is what iam expecting to learn something new about EVERYTHING!!

At the last post of mine i said something like this(...the peoples who aged about 50 or above have minds of children....)

Actually in here where i am living is used to it!!

What it actually meant is that the people who are aged old have hearts of gold, loving, caring for others(especially their grandsons and grand daughter's) and they dont harm others in any ways...!!!!!!!Thats what it means!!

It's easy to not take age into consideration on the internet because we cannot physically see the people on the other side of the screen. So, age does not really matter to me on the internet. I enjoy talking with a variety of viewpoints and you can only get a variety of viewpoints when you have a lot of different levels of experience and adventures.

age to me doesn't matter... as long as you like the games and just want to share it with others.

Of course age matters, but in a good way.

I've posted some on other forums (pregnancy and child forums) where almost everyone is a similar age and in a very similar stage of life. One of my favorite things about this site is that there is such a wide age and culture range. I feel like I learn something new about life when I read all of these wonderfully divergent views and experiences.
