He'd be like the friendly version of the joker. Wacky inventions that would leave my enemies in stitches!

My favorite idea so far, the explosive whoopy-cushion. There won't be any need for them to excuse themselves after that one!

What super power would YOU have?

Well, your newsletter was wrong - I didn't die laughing when I read about your special power. My SON Zach would die laughing if he read about it. When I read about it, my first thought was "I must prevent Zach from hearing about the explosive whoopy cushion at all costs!" IF he ever hears about it, we would never be able to have a sane conversation with him again, for the rest of our lives. This has now become my #1 mission.

My super power? I would have two of them. One would be the ability to immediately understand what I am reading (like those 600+ page programming language manuals that I've been known to wheel into my bedroom with a trolley for some light reading prior to going to sleep).

The other would be "supermum". This encompasses everything that a mother is expected to do during the day. It includes the cold glare that, when cast over a messy room, sends everything scurrying back to its rightful place - washed, ironed, vaccuumed, and anything else that needs to be done to make it "just right". It also includes the voice of authority that simply must be obeyed. No ignoring, no answering back. Gone are the days of:

"Zach, come and do some of your homework please."

"Nah, I'm too busy playing MarioKarts and making Luigi run off the edge of the track."

"If you don't get your homework done before bedtime, you'll have to stay in class at lunchtime tomorrow."

"You just WANT me to stay in class."

"I don't want you to stay in class. I want you to do your homework so you don't have to stay in class."

"Anyway, school is just there to ruin kids' playtime. Where's my whoopy cushion? Did you hide it again? I'll just get a new one ... maybe a big, explosive one ... mum, why did your skin just turn white?"

"Ugh! I'm going to bed. I think there's a programming manual in there - I understand those better than I understand kids."

OK, this is like the second newsletter I *didn't* receive since I signed up for the newsletter. Are you sure my email is on your mailing list? I confirmed my subscription right after the announcement that you'll be taking over the newsletter, TheFool.

I would have the power to be interested in a paying job. That may not sound magical enough to others, but oh, that would totally be the superpower I need.

We have newsletter issues with newer signups (newer being in the last month or two). I told Amanda to fix it but noooooooo....

Ok she said she would and you should get the next one. The newsletter signup issue sadly takes a back seat to finding a bug with a few versions of Gates of Night at the last second.

What's that Amanda? Oh... right... there was no bug, as usual Amaranth Games is perfect in all we do and nothing ever slips past us.

My super power would be to stop people from fighting. You know, like couples arguing... just snap my fingers and they'd just hug and realize life is short... getting along is a better way to live. It makes me so sad when people fight needlessly.

I would like to dream and sleep all day.

The ability to use wind more than the common sense - wind can be just as powerful as blades. Not to mention you can use them as telekinesis.

Compulsion, or mind control is good, too.

Pyrokinesis? I want to light candles without a match.

I would love to have the ability to teleport wherever I want

Ryo would like to have quite a few powers.

1. The ability to get rid of Ryo's allergies which block him from his beloved kitties.

2. The ability to make ice cream out of thin air. This would include his world famous,
AISU KUREEMU BEAMU!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. The ability to grow kitty ears and a tail at will, of course with power #1, Ryo wouldn't be allergic to himself.

4. The ability to do a backflip would be nice.

5. The ability to talk to animals (mainly kitties) and befriend them.

6. The power to actually finish Ryo's game, since he keeps procrastinating with it.

7. The power to... um... think of a power... >.<

Im pretty sure I already posses the power to sleep all day Kirroha... I think that is an attainable super power with a little practice and lethargy.

hmm...teleporting would be nice...

I'd like a power called "tongues." no, that doesn't mean i have excellent taste buds, it means i can understand and speak any language i hear or read. that would be excellent. then i could teleport to japan, saving myself the long plane ride and expensive ticket, and actually understand what was happening around me XD

wouldn't mind being able to fly (you know, for those shorter distances that teleporting would be impractical)

i'd love to be able to project my thoughts onto paper. i can compose pretty cool scenes in my head but i don't have the skill to draw them. same goes with stories--it would save me a lot of typing if i could just think what i want to write (yeah, yeah, speech recognition software, but...XD)

((and ryo-kun? shouldn't that be aisu kurimu?))

I've always been between three, personally:
1. Flight. Because who doesn't want to fly?
2. Telekinesis. Because I'm lazy and would like to not have to get up to get stuff sometimes.
3. Phasing. I would so love to be able to walk through stuff. <3

Tei's last one would be awesome too.

A super-power? To fool someone stupid 'nuff to do my homework an whole year.

I'd like to read ppl's minds also but b able to control it and control the stars and heavens.

I've thought about my super power a lot and I'd like to have the ability to control animals minds (for a short period and obviously only for good haha). The question here becomes what defines an animal...can I control something as small as a germ or antibody to hurt/heal? Probably not. As well, just what does the control allow? I imagine that the larger an animal (and larger the brain) the harder it would be to control (and would take more energy out of me) but the more I could do/learn with it. Could I control multiple at once? The possibilities are endless!

I'll agree with Aura on this one, teleportation would be the best ability ever! Other cool super powers would be flying and invisibility..

Hmmm what very intriguing question!

I see that others have chosen multiple powers, so I will do the same

1. Teleportation: Just think of the possibilities for travel and mental diversification that other cultural perspectives could give me!

2. Personal Light Source: You know a nice little ball of cool bright light to see by; good bye electric bills! (Come to think of it, maybe it should have a port so I can recharge my laptop and/or smartphone).

3. Catalyst: Others who hung out with me would develop the same skills as above. Then think of all the resources we wouldn't have to waste, we could turn parking lots and roadways into parks or community gardens... ohhhh the possibilities!

1. I agree with Jai on her second one. I'd love to be able to read my favorite books in the dark without no one knowing that I'm in the tree in the backyard! I just really don't want to get a 20 yard extension cord and figure out how to put the lamp in the tree so it won't fall.

2. The super power to read a super speed! Lol

3. It's Tei's but I've been dreaming about it ever sience I turned 7! It's the projecting your thoughts on paper. I could "write" some pretty neat stories.
