For the "drop of blood" you need to go to Sesidhbana first and pick the quest of the missing husband. Then go to the grave in Wintever.
Before being able to proceed to the Forest Portal (near Tree of Life) you have to go first to Eden (and you can't go there till Act IV) The letters can be found in: -Swamp -Forest Town -Ruins -Cemetery

Thanks Bahamut, I had done the missing husband quest but failed to check the grave, even though I had talked to the eskimo guy next to it. Off to retrace my steps to find the 4th letter.
I must say you have created a really good game with some neat features and while challenging it is very enjoyable.

for the gate, you just have to be really fast. trial and error. It takes a few times of running around and getting and keeping them all pressed.

Having completed all bar the tower I decided to level up my characters & buy the best weapons & equipment I could, have mystic weapons & armour on all characters & have been trying to buy 100 + gems so I could upgade to epic armour but although I have over 10 diamonds ( 100 gems) 2 ruby's( 10 gems) 1 saphire( 2 gems) my inventory only shows 99 gems and 100 are needed to forge epic armour. Has anyone else come across this?

Yesterday the downloading of the English version stopped 27 seconds before the end, same problem with the patch. (How to correct the problem mentioned with the patch, file replacment...)

Yes. Just extract the patch in the same folder and replace the files.
Try the download again and tell me if it works now.

Have downloaded & installed patch this morning & item list for forging still says you need 100 gems for epic armour. I will go and have a go at the tower for now & see if I can manage it without epic equipment.

Sorry Bahamut but the patch hasn't resolved my problem with forging epic armour.My save before entering the laboratory shows 11 Diamonds, 1 emerald, 2 Ruby's = 115 gems. After speaking to the woman behind the counter & clicking on forge epic armour it shows have 90gems needs 100 gems.
Then when I go back to my item list it shows only 9 diamonds. So somewhere between speaking to the woman & selecting forge epic armour I loose 1 diamond, 1 emerald & 2 ruby's. I obviously have some sort of glitch, can you help ?
