I might not write for a while so I may have the srorys ready way before!
Part 22 I was sitting in Rhen’s room watching her sitting and looking into the mirror, she had her hair done up into a tight French braid. She was wearing the green gown that she had used the night of Gavin’s ball. All put together she would have looked great, except she was frowning. “It doesn’t seem right to go. Everyone seams to think it’s a bad idea.” She was speaking to me. “You have to remember none of us like that Rowan guy. You’ll be fine.” I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea, Dameon could appear and we wouldn’t be there to protect Rhen, not that she couldn’t protect her self. “It just doesn’t seam right going with out friends. I’ve gone to dances alone before, in Clearwater, its just different, what if one of you suddenly die or I die.” Rhen was starting to freak me out. “You will be fine.” I said in a stern voice. I gritted my teeth if she was fine and extremely happy when she came back I would be sure to choke, if she came home either tired, mad, or sad then I could deal with it. “Ok, well if I am not back by midnight that means that Dameon has stolen me, if I’m not back by then wait twenty minutes and only then may anyone come and look for me.” “Oh don’t worry you’ll be safe, ‘cause if you aren’t Te’ijal will most likely come and crash the party.” Rhen smiled and stood up then sat back down. “I feel sick.” She said. “No you don’t its just your first dance that you haven’t had anyone you know there.” I told here. She smoothed her dress then walked out of the room and I fallowed, it wasn’t as painful to move anymore which was good. “The king sure has a lot of balls.” She exclaimed. “Hey your the one who wanted to go.” She really should just suck it up and go. She took a big breath and opened the door and was stopped by Te’ijal. “Rhen if I find that that prince has done anything to you I’ll eat him. Understood?” Rhen smiled and nodded, then walked out the door. Te’ijal and I walked into the living room where everyone was waiting we had a big game of cheat ahead of us. (For those of you who don’t know Cheat is a card game) Pirate John passed out the cards and Elini had the two of hearts she started. I had the next turn, ‘now lets see, I have two threes’ “Two threes” I said as I placed the two cards face down. Galahad who was sitting next to me but down what he said was one four, but the likely hood of Galahad actually playing the real four was very low. “Cheat!” I called and he took the whole pile! He had cheated. This game went on for hours; I had called at least 90 cheats and had only picked up the pile twice. I was so good. “Cheat!” Te’ijal called, no one knew but we had rigged the game. “You guys tired? I’m heading to bead.” Mad Marge said, she was loosing so it was to be expected. “Yeah, can barely keep my eyes open” Elini agreed and stood up. After that the game ended and we all headed to different locations, I headed to the kitchen ‘cause after beating everyone, except Te’ijal I was hungry. “Now lets see, cookies, milk, fruit, veggies, eww is that noodles?” I mumbled as I searched the icebox. I took out the cookies and started to eat one. I sat down at the counter and looked at a page of something that looked like someone’s story, Rhen’s. I started reading, ‘I meat a prince today, his name is Rowan he is tall his hair is always falling in his eyes its brown and he has the nicest green eyes. Its odd to actually to know royalty other than myself, though I never thought of myself as royalty I find myself excepting my fate. The prince, Rowan seams not to dread becoming king one day. I always thought it would be awful but now I am wondering if it will be.’ Rhen was dreading being queen! What was she thinking! I read on. ‘Ever since I met Rowan everyone has been acting strange, especially Lars he hasn’t talked much and if he doesn’t say something soon I think I’ll gag. I fought Rowan he isn’t a full sword master yet, but he’ll get there someday. Lars seams to be really upset about something, and his powers haven’t been working, and he has been passing out a lot. I asked Rowan to join us on our quest and he accepted, though everyone seams to hate me for it. I even stood up to Te’ijal about it, then a while after Lars disappeared, he came back later and said he had been talking to a friend, I wonder who it was... By now I was on my fourth cookie and my eyes were watering, my back was starting to ache. ‘Lars gave me a locket for Christmas, it is shaped as a heart and it has a little blue gem in the middle it also is said to have prophesy to it, but I don’t get it. Lars disappeared and when I went into his room I about choked, he was gone; he thought we wouldn’t need him! I set off to search for him and when I found him he was covered in blood, lying in the snow. I could even see his bone in one arm. When the doctor was attending to him Lars held my hand and it made me feel sick, seeing his fevered face, and the wounds all over him, the worst one it on his back and the doc says it may never heal to its normal stats. When I went to find Lars it made me regret ever even thinking about being queen I never want to rule.’ I stopped there was no more to read, Rhen had been writing all this down! I put the papers on a shelf and sat back down, Rhen walked through the door and came into the kitchen. She sighed looking very tired. “How did it go?” I asked. “It was fine.” She looked unhappy and came and sat down next to me. “I don’t get it, after we danced we went and listened to their aunt speak to Rowans mom and dad, all they would talk about was Rowan and him becoming king. Every so often they would look at me and whisper, it’s disturbing.” She said. “Other than that was Rowan ok? He didn’t try to kill you or anything?” She looked confused. “He didn’t act normal, he was all talking about him and ruling the kingdom, and his aunt seamed to want him to say something to me, but he refused.” I half smiled I knew what his aunt was saying, guys seamed to fall for Rhen like rocks. I did a little chuckle. “What? Everyone seams to get it except me!” She put her head in her hands. “Don’t worry you wont have to know what it is for a long time.” I smiled and she looked at me. “Well if you aren’t going to tell me I have been wondering all night, how are you feeling, and what did you guys do while I was gone?” I smiled again. “I’m ok, and Te’ijal and I rigged a game of cheat and beat all the others by far.” She grinned. “Yeah?” “Yeah. Now I have to go to bed, my back is killing me.” So we both got up and headed to our rooms. I opened my door and eased myself into the covers and fell asleep. (In Lars’s dream) “What are you nuts!” the little king shouted. I had just asked him if I could see Rhen and his face had turned red and he started shouting at me. Then a small thin tired looking person came in, it was Rhen. “Lars? Is that you?” She managed to say. “Yes, what happened to you?” I asked as the little king bobbled up and down with anger. “Being kept in this castle and having this whole palace to attend to, I haven’t stepped outside in years. I’ve been deathly ill for months.” She fell to her hands and knees, her long light blue braid hung down. “I lost my sword fighting Dameon, and haven’t touched one since, if I could only hold it once more.” I pulled out her sword and she looked up red flashing in her eyes, this wasn’t Rhen! She grabbed it and I saw her changing into a strong imitation of Rhen. “Fool! Rowan, fetch me the powder!” I now saw that the little king had been Rowan just older. He handed her a bottle of black powder and she grinned evilly. “This is the end Lars” and she poured the dark power over me, I disappeared dead never to use magic again. I awoke from my dream Te’ijal was shaking my shoulder saying something. “Lars! What’s wrong!” I shook my head “I’m fine, I just had a bad dream, a really, really bad dream.” I told her. “You were screaming, it sounded like someone had just stabbed you so I came, what was it about.” She truly looked concerned. “Rhen married that Rowan guy and turned evil, then I had gone to see here thinking I would just pay a visit to my old friend, she looked weak and sickly, she wanted to hold her sword once more so I gave it to her, then she looked strong and evil and Rowan gave her black powder and she poured it on me and it killed me!” Te’ijal looked thoughtful and turned her face away for a while. “I think I know what it means...” She said slowly. “I think it means that there is a new power forming, where we least expect it, it may look weak but really it’s getting stronger. I think it might be pointing to you.” She looked back to me and grinned, then got up. “You kneed any water? Or not?” “No I’ll be fine.” I told her. She left and I went back to sleep.

Fools!
Part 23 The next week my wounds were almost gone, there was still one on my arm, and my back that weren’t healing. None of us could fight Rhen anymore or we would get really hurt. She learned a new skill where she would jump high into the air while spinning it was very effective and anything fighting her would die. We were all ready to go, we were headed to speak to a group of thieves they wanted us to help them, they had seen Dameon and in exchange for where they saw him we needed to do something for them. To our disappointment Rowan was still coming. “Ready?” Rhen asked as we all stood outside the door. I nodded. “Te’ijal you are to fight with Lars if anything happens you are to keep him safe, and Galahad you stay with Te’ijal. Everyone, we are heading to Ghalarah so lets go!” and we started off. As we walked through Sedona everyone looked at us, like we weren’t real. It must have looked like we were off to war, with all our weapons. A few people bowed when they saw Rowan and I sneered in disgust. Even the people selling cheese stopped shouting. “Cheese! Cheese! Get your Cheese here! Get your...” Then they would stop and look at us. Mad Marge looked upset and whispered to us. “Someday they will be selling my coconuts!” We laughed. We met the group of thieves where Rhen had spoken to me about dinner and I had taken her slave bands off. There was a girl that was her leader she was very thin and had knives all around her belt, her pale purple hair looked like she had chopped it off when it started to get in her way. The rest were not any better looking. “You must be our contact. Well let’s get to it we need something from you. If you agree we will tell you the location,” The girl said. “Fine, what do you need?” Rhen asked. “We need someone to break into a palace and grab an item for us.” She gave us a grin she was missing several teeth where they had been punched out, or she had just lost them naturally, which made me wonder how old she was. “We will do it.” Rhen agreed. “Fine, then you!” she pointed to me. “You must go and get the item.” The others whispered. Galahad stepped in front of me. “He can’t.” “Oh yes he can. Or we wont give you the information.” She snarled. “But he is hurt!” Elini said. “Oh he can still do it, Lars.” The girl said and I suddenly recognized her, the others exchanged glances. “Jay?” I asked. “Oh yes Lars and I’ll always remember what you did to me, now its pay back time.” She grabbed one of her daggers. “I didn’t do anything to you!” I did know her, she was an old... friend. “Oh yes you did. I use to be in your little band of thieves, you were the leader and you ignored me, I did my best and practiced throwing daggers every day but still you wouldn’t notice me. It was always Molly this and Molly that, never Jay.” Rowan looked shocked. “Lars? You don’t have to... I mean we could just leave.” Rhen looked worried. “No, I can do it, if we can get any information on Dameon I’ll do anything. Besides Jay needs to learn a lesson.” I sneered. The others were looking very confused. “Now you freaks stay here, we’ll take Lars and when he has finished we will return him to you.” Jay snickered. “He isn’t going any where we don’t go!” Rhen snapped. One of Jay’s thieves grabbed me and dragged me over and held my arms behind my back. “Stand back you little twerp! Or I’ll throw a dagger into your heart!” She held the dagger ready. “I’ve been waiting five years for this and you wont ruin it.” “Don’t move you little leach! Or you will find your self drained of life.” Te’ijal came out and showed her fangs. “I wouldn’t try my patients its very short.” She held up her hand a black ball of mist forming on it. Jay looked shocked. “Fine! You may have one of your team join us, but no more!” The thief holding my arms had been holding them where my wounds were and I cried out, that just made them press them farther towards my back and I clenched my teeth and closed my eyes. “Don’t hurt him!” Rhen shouted. “I’ll go with you! Just don’t hurt him!” she was now in tears. “Rhen, no!” said Rowan. Another thief came and grabbed Rhen she winced as he pulled her arm hard behind her back, if he pulled any harder her arm would come out of its socket. “Fools! You’ll never see them again! We can get a pretty penny for them.” Then they ran dragging us with them. The others started after us but the thieves knew the woods and were extremely quick. We could see Jay ahead of us jumping over logs and streams. I fell once and one of the thieves kicked my back, I screamed in pain, the thief and metal tipped boots, and had just kicked my wound. “Don’t touch him!” Rhen shouted elbowing the thief holding her captive. It doubled oven and Rhen ran oven to me kneeling down in the mud. She glared the one who had kicked me. jay came running over to us. “Get up fools!” She demanded. “Shut up you jerk!” Rhen shouted, jumping to her feet. She took out her sword. “Put that away! Or ill have your hands tied!” Jay hissed. “Where are you taking us?” Rhen stomped her foot. “Dameon wants you, if he doesn’t deliver the correct price we will bring you to be slaves for the vampires or witches, which ever one pays the highest.” Rhen fell back down in the mud next to me and groaned. The thieves surrounded us and tied out hands, they took our weapons away. “No! I need that!” I said they were about to snap my staff in half. Jay hesitated, “I don’t want to hurt you Lars, I don’t even want to turn you in, you could join us but the blue brat goes.” I turned my head from its hanging down position, I was still on my hands and knees and my back felt like it was being burnt. “I’ll never go to that low again. I promised myself that years ago.” Jay looked stung. “You jerk! Can’t you see he’s hurt?” Rhen looked up at Jay standing with my staff in her hands. “Drop the staff. Or you wont live to see tomorrow.” I said in a threatening voice. Jay looked amused than started chuckling. “Yeah you one to talk, your stuck on the ground green hair!” I jumped up shocking her. I stood several inches taller than her and my eyes were dark, what Te’ijal said was coming true, darker, more powerful magic was growing inside of me. “Hand over the staff now.” I glared at her. “Lars?” Rhen sounded confused. Jay dropped the staff and I picked it up. “Tell Dameon that he’ll have to try harder next time.” Then I grabbed Rhen’s arm bringing her over to me, I pointed my staff in the air and we disappeared. I could hear Jay shouting at her band, she didn’t bother to look up, and I still didn’t have the strength to bring us far, we were in the tree above them. Rhen was in tears, “the sword of shadows is still down there.” “Oh great.” Sarcasm was in my voice and I rolled my eyes. Rhen needed her sword. “Ok, we can get it back but we’ll have to get caught again, and they might actually get us to Dameon this time.” I was upset; this was not part of my plan. “Ok now grab my arm we are going down.” Rhen gave a little groan but grabbed my arm. I jumped, I had used all the magic I had and so the going down part was painful. Jay shrieked as we fell about six feet away from her. Our hands were still tied but they still tied them tighter, and took my staff. Two of the bigger thieves grabbed our arms something hit me on the head and all went black. The last thing I heard was Rhen’s shriek as the hit her and knocked her out. (Sorry people! Here is the missing part 24!) Vampire tears Part 24 The party when they are missing Rhen and Lars. Te’ijal stomped on ahead she would get that Jay and kill her. They had taken her two best friends in the world. She would find them if she had to run across the world. She would get them even if she died in the process. “You ok Te’ijal?” Elini caught up to her having to jog to keep up. “No! I’ve never been so not ok in my whole entire life!” Te’ijal snapped. A window caught Te’ijal’s eye and she stomped over to it. “I hate this! They will pay for this!” She kicked the window hard and it shattered. “Te’ijal?” Galahad put a hand on her shoulder, Te’ijal fell to the ground and put her head in her hands. She started crying. “I can’t take it any longer, first I loose my sister and brother, then my parents, now my best friends, I can’t take it any longer!” she was now sobbing. “It will be ok, I promise.” Galahad knelt next to her. “I need to bite something.” Te’ijal said through tears. She sunk her fangs into her arm she closed her eyes and kept her fangs in her arm. “Te’ijal!” Elini ran over and knelt next to her. “You’ll kill your self let go!” Elini yanked at Te’ijal’s arm. Te’ijal’s head came up blood dripping from her fangs. She let Elini hug her she was too upset to protest. “And with Lars not having any power and he isn’t totally healed, it’s all my fault!” Te’ijal broke into a new round of sobbing. The others were still getting over their shock of Te’ijal actually crying. “No its not. Its ok they’ll be fine. Its ok.” Elini smoothed Te’ijal’s hair. Then something in Te’ijal’s heart hardened, Jay would die. Te’ijal slowly stood up, shaken, she had never cried before, well once before when she was sitting under the gate looking up at the sun, regretting ever going up, as it was all her fault. “I’ll meat you in the underworld.” Te’ijal wiped her eyes and ran. “I’m going to go burn my house down.” The anger had built up in Te’ijal and she gad to get it out the only way to do this was to get rid of any evidence she ever lived in the under world. Her arm was bleeding and the poison hurt but she kept going, vampires can run faster than normal humans so it took her a mere twenty minutes to reach the dock where a ship was waiting. She didn’t even bother putting down a ramp she jumped the seven feet from the dock to the boat landing heavily. The captain of the ship looked startled, this wasn’t their boat, the others would need it so she had decided to take someone else’s. “Move it! Take me to the wild woods now!” She could have just walked, but she needed to be on water, it made her feel calmer. They arrived at the entrance one hour later and before they had even stopped Te’ijal shoved ten coins into the captain’s hand and jumped the eight feet to the shore. From there she ran and anything in her way would die, every tree would turn black and fall, as vampire magic fell over it. She arrived at the entrance and jumped in, the feeling of falling and being engulfed in darkness the true vampress state falling over her. When she hit the bottom she began to run. Though the woods and into Ged’ahre surprised vampire faces turned towards her they were having a vampire meeting and Te’ijal was unexpected. She grinned, everything here would have to go, eventually, but her house would be the first. “Te’ijal? What are you doing down here! We thought you were dead!” Her aunt asked her. “Oh I am dead, you all seam to forget that we all are dead, in fact we are so dead, the freaking emotions can reach me! Now move or I’ll kill each and every one of you, I don’t care if your already dead just move it!” She screeched. She ran through the crowd and to her house, then she held up a finger and a flame appeared from it, she touched the house and flames surrounded it. A hand rested on Te’ijal’s shoulder and she spun around and there was Gyendal. “Te’ijal? Is that you?” He asked. “Yes, its me.” She started to cry again. Gyendal brought he into a hug, “What’s wrong?” “Everything is getting to me, like our siblings, and parents, and my best friends just got kidnapped, and one of them just lots his magic and is hurt really bad, and it all feels like its my fault.” “No it’s not your fault.” They both turned and looked at Te’ijal’s burning home. “Who are your friends?” He asked. “Lars Tenobor and Rhen Darzon/ Pendragon. I need to go.” She pulled away from her brother and ran out into the woods and back into the sunlight. There waiting for her were the group and Galahad grabbed into a hug, “Its ok Te’ijal” He whispered to her. “Now its not, it’s never ok.” Te’ijal sobbed.

just couldn't keep from posting!
Gretchen Part 25 “Come on! Stop walking so slow!” Jay dragged us to an opening in the wild woods, “Dameon! We brought them now we need the money!” She shouted. “Ah, Rhen its so good to see you again.” Dameon came from the shadows and Rhen winced. “Hand over the money!” Jay said. “Will this do?” Dameon handed her a bad of coins Jay sifted through them. “Really Dameon I’d never thought you to stoop so low to let Jay help you.” I sneered. “Shut up!” Jay slapped me across the face. “Leave him alone!” Rhen shouted as she kicked Jay’s knee. “This isn’t enough.” Jay said through clenched teeth. “Guys take them the gate! Sorry Dameon, you had your chance, now its gone.” She tossed her short chopped off hair and walked after us. Dameon punched a near by tree and I yelled back to him “Great to see you in person! Not!” and Jay slapped me again, but this time she got whacked on the head by Rhen who had kicked that high! They pushed us through the opening and jumped down after us my back was killing me, bending in any way made pain sear through me, and my arm wasn’t feeling great either. They pushed us towards new witch woods and Jay still was holding her head where it gotten kicked. There was a gathering of witches, and the auction began. “Here are the items starting at one thousand.” Jay winced as her head hurt when she spoke; I wondered if Rhen had broken her jaw bode. “One thousand!” A witch called out. “One fifty!” Another said. It went on like this for hours and it finally ended at three million and a witch that looked to be in her twenties grabbed us. “Come with me!” She did a cackle and the witches around her parted. “I own the potion shop so you’ll be getting items for me!” We were dragged into a house that was big enough to hold three rooms, a kitchen and a shop front. She sat us down, “hold out your hands.” She took out a knife and cut the ropes holding each of our arms. “My name is Gretchen and you both are?” She asked. “I’m Lars.” She didn’t seen to be a mean witch. “And I’m Rhen.” Last names were not being given away. “Well your work starts tomorrow so Lars your rooms the one on the left and Rhen yours is on the right, ‘cause your names start with the same letter! Oh and Lars I see your hurt well don’t worry we’ll keep you from doing to hard of work till you heal! Ok!” This witch didn’t seam mean, or completely evil, well I mean she was just... oh never mind! I walked into the room on the left and to my surprise it wasn’t completely gross! There was a bed in on e corner and a desk to write on and a mat on the floor, it was pretty clean so I went to bed. The next morning I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder, “Time to wake up! Here this is some goo, it should help your back and arm.” It was Gretchen. Rhen was sitting on the bed behind her in a witch dress. “Here this is your outfit, you can’t go walking around here in those things your wearing.” She held out a black cloak, very much like my own, except it was black not blue. I looked down, she was holding a bowl or green goop, and it was really gross looking. But not to be rude I scooped some up and rubbed it on my back and arm. “Thanks.” I told Gretchen. They both left and I put on my new cloak. I headed to the Kitchen. When I got there Rhen was sitting at a table with a witch hat on, at first I hadn’t recognized her but then she turned to me and motioned me over. “Gretchen is making breakfast!” She gave me a big smile. “Well that’s some thing I can deal with, someone making breakfast for me when I’m their slave.” I grinned back. Gretchen came in with three plates with some eggs and toast, and set a plate in front of each of us. “So today I need Rhen to go and get me lots of wart roots, and Lars you can stir the caldron, then I need you to get something from a friend of mine, when your both back we’ll look through some spells and potions and take inventory of the store. Got that?” She was the nicest slave owner I’d ever met. We finished our food and fallowed her into the potion room. “Ok Rhen, this is what they look like, there one that similar but don’t get that one, it’s poisonous how you can tell the difference is that it has tiny purple spots. Now don’t touch it ‘cause if you do you’ll get a really painful rash that stings like heck.” She handed Rhen a basket. “They can normally be found near the edge of cliffs, so please try not to fall off.” “Now Lars, here is the caldron and here is the large spoon to stir with, now if I throw something into it that could cause an eruption I advise you run to the far end of the room as fast as you can, now I often forget to warn about these so you’ll have to be on your toes.” She handed me the large, or extremely large spoon. “Now off you go Rhen. I need that basket to be full! Now hurry along!” Gretchen said in a cheerful voice. Rhen scattered out of the room quickly and started skipping “See you soon Lars and Gretchen!” She called. “Ok now Lars, now I herd you were a magic wielder, so you might want to pay attention to what spells I say and all the potions. Just in case you ever leave or become my apprentice. Now every so often I’ll have a costumer, and you’ll need to go and take care of their needs.” I nodded. “Lets go to work!” Gretchen said as she skipped over to her potion book. I walked over to the caldron and dipped the spoon in, there was green steam coming from it and I held my nose. “Oh don’t worry, that’s just a beginning material, its not toxic it breath in, though some are, but I’ll try to remember to tell you when I’m going to do those.” I gave her a nervous smile. Rhen Rhen walked to the edge of a cliff, it was almost lunchtime and her basket was about full, She just needed about nine more. She walked to a patch of them right by the side of the cliff and knelt down. “Now lets see, one, two, three, erg come up!” Rhen muttered as she tugged on one of the roots. She was picking the last one up when she noticed the slightly purple tint of the root. “Ahhhh!” She screeched. No wonder there had been so many in one area they weren’t wart roots! She tossed out the roots she had just picked, but they clung to her, she accidentally touched her arm and two of the roots latched on, there were already three on her legs and several were stuck to her hands. She ran fast and into the town then she jogged and walked, she reached Gretchen’s house and knocked. Gretchen came to answer it, “Rhen! What happened! Oh never mind come quickly!” Gretchen dragged Rhen to the potion room and sat her on a table. “Where’s Lars?” Rhen asked and winced as her skin stung when she talked. “He went to wash his hands, he’ll be back soon.” With perfect timing Lars walked into the room and halted. “What happened here?” He asked. “Rhen got into some gorinish roots.” Gretchen explained. Back to Lars I looked at Rhen sitting on the table looking slightly purple, what had she done! Gretchen would probably get mad... or maybe not Gretchen seamed to be nice enough. Gretchen grabbed a vile and set it next to Rhen, then proceeded to pluck the little prongs that had fastened themselves to Rhen. The first root came loose. “Ouch!” Rhen cried. “Sorry! Sorry!” Gretchen said as she poured the liquid that was in the vile on the spot where the root had been. Gretchen actually treated us like friends, or kids, or whatever, like we actually were worth something and had feelings and stuff. “Lars, open my potion book to page... page uh 9,000,289,762,716,872,984 quick!” I Ran over to the book table, and went to the middle of her potion book there was the page! “Ok now throw the stuff on the page into the caldron, quick its almost a matter of life and death, not quite though, Rhen could just get very sick, and everyone knows being sick is like dieing for the millionth time!” Gretchen chuckled and removed another root Rhen winced. I looked for the eye of bog woggler, and jam of fairy dust and mushroom, there they were I threw them in. Uh, next ok, fried and shredded pillow, and green carrots, the also ended up in the caldron. I finished and stirred as quickly as I could, everyone knows that having anything slightly related to the flu if terrible. I put it in a jar and brought it to Gretchen. “Ok now Rhen it might taste slightly gross... but you need to drink it.” Gretchen told her. “What! Eww!” But Rhen took it and swallowed some she gagged. “Thih id dihgusding!” She pushed it away. “Now, now Rhen you have to drink it or the flu will kick in.” Gretchen said and Rhen drank the rest. “So... I guess collecting wart roots didn’t go well then...?” I asked. “No, but I at least got some.” Rhen pointed to the basket. “Well, you should be fine, but just in case you better not do anything hard, we’ll skip taking inventory today, how about we play a card game?” She asked. “You’d let us play a card game? We’re your slaves.”? I asked. “I don’t consider you slaves, more as hired help, and your also my friends, it gets so boring around here that I decided I needed some company, and people just don’t come around to seeing all the things witch wood has to offer.” She sighed and wiped her hands on her dress. That evening we sat around in Gretchen’s very small living room playing cards, and eating pancakes. Gretchen was actually pleasant to be around, she could keep an interesting conversation going, and knew how to play cards. She was also interested in how we used magic, and my sudden loss of it. “Well, people I don’t know about you but I need sleep, so I’m off to bed. You two better too, Your both hurt and for things to heal they need rest.” We all walked to our rooms I said goodnight to Rhen then fell onto my bed, I was dieing to leave, to see my friends but Gretchen was sure to have some sort of lock or guarding system. The next two weeks were pretty uneventful, except for we went up and Rhen and Gretchen got their hair done at a place at the Velt. Gretchen of all the witches didn’t mind looking nice, she said that it was good to be different. Then on Saturday things turned weird. “Ok now I need someone to test this on, oh Lars bring my that bird the one over in that cage” Gretchen called; we all were spending the day in the potion room, trying new spells and potions. I grabbed the cage, inside was a little parrot that wouldn’t shut up. “Polly wants a cracker! Give it to him! Give it now!” It was a winy little thing. “This should shut him up!” Gretchen said and I set down the cage. She started spinning her staff in the air. “Take this parrot who wont shut up, the one who’s feathers are all a muck, he lives in new witch wood, in a bog, now turn this parrot into a frog.” She kept spinning and stopped except she stopped in the wrong spot and I felt a burst of electricity went through me. “Lars!” The girls both cried at the same time. “What?” I asked my throat felt funny and I sounded hoarse. “Your a frog!” Rhen screamed. “I’m so sorry! This is all my fault!” Gretchen moaned. Now come to think of it they did look rather larger then they normally did. I also had a sudden urge to find a nice swamp. Oh and everything looked a little greener. “Oh no!” Gretchen moaned. “And we aren’t allowed to use magic for two weeks! It’s a holiday! Oh dear oh dear oh dear! What will we do?” Gretchen gasped. “Want me to bring you to your room?” Rhen asked. “Yes, I don’t think I enjoy being a frog, I feel drenched in slime, and everything I see is somewhat greenish, and I feel tiny.” I told Rhen as she carried me to my room on her palm. “You’ll have to stay like this for a while.” Rhen said regretfully. She set me down on the bed, “You’ll be safe till then.” She walked out of the room and I hopped to the window and stared out everything was huge! Rhen Rhen walked into the potion room and sat at a table and Gretchen looked up. “Lars can’t be a frog that long, it will become permanent.” Gretchen said through clenched teeth. “I think I might have a solution. You know in fairy tales? Well maybe if I kissed the frog, I mean Lars he’d turn human again...?” Rhen looked at her hands. “Its worth a try, you have until Sunday to decide if you’ll go through with it, if you don’t by then Lars will be a frog forever.” Gretchen informed Rhen, Rhen nodded and went to her room. Lars’s fate was in her hands.

THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST PART! READ IT! FROGS! hICCUP IS LAUGHING, SHE JUST READ IT AND LIKED IT. HOPE YOU PEOPLE DO TOO!
Part 26 That night I felt like a normal sized thing in a giant’s world, lying in my bed. Rhen came into the room to say goodnight and I jumped onto her head, one advantage of being a frog was that I could jump higher. Gretchen came in also. “He’s starting to except it, this isn’t good.” Gretchen mumbled. “Night Lars! Please don’t eat any of the bed bugs. That would be gross you’ll get normal food like us, ok?” Rhen told me, why would I eat a bug! Was that what frogs ate? Eww! All I needed was a tiny crown... I thought as I drifted off to sleep. That night my dreams were full of jumping on Lilly pads and eating things, they were rudely interrupted by sudden gold balls falling in the water and princesses crying. In one dream I was trapped in a kitchen and a cook was sharpening knives, on the counter there was a recipe for frog legs. That night I woke up feeling sick and dry, I hopped out of bed and to a counter there was a bowl of water I had used to wash my face, I jumped in. The cool water made me feel good, the slimy feeling I had gotten use to returned and I started to sing. “Ribbit, crooaakk! Crooaakk...” Lalala singing felt sooooo good, my mind started to muddle up and little froggy thoughts occupied it. I started to hum, and swim around in the water, being a frog was wonderful, lalala. Everything was perfect, everything was fine, just had to look out for people who wanted to cook, kiss, or step on me. I wanted to be a frog forever, lalala... “hummm mhhh hummm de dum hummm” I hummed, I’d never have anyone ordering me around, I could be free, free, free... Lalala... A hand entered the water and grabbed me, “Ccrrooaakk!” I said in alarm It was Gretchen behind her was Rhen. “No! Bad frog... I mean Lars, Lars no don’t swim bad froggy! No swimming!” Gretchen shook her head. “Will he be fine?” Rhen asked. “I’m not sure, usually all human/frogs when entering water forget that they ever were a human. They decide they love being frogs, even if we can save him, his brain might stay thinking like a frog, and he might look slightly greener.” Gretchen paused. “Well let’s bring him to the fireplace. “Whcroak! WwhhCroak!” I tryed saying ‘what’ but it didn’t really work. “Oh dear this isn’t good, he couthd loothse humanth communicathion!” Gretchen words were starting to slur together and I could no longer under stand her, but who cared I was a frog, lalala... I was plunked onto a stool and I blinked for a few seconds, well they didn’t have to be rough with me! A hand came down and patted me on the head, I hopped the other end of the stool trying to get away from the hand. “Ncrrooaakk!” I screamed as the hand grabbed me and set me down back at the middle of the stool. I was picked up and Rhen’s huge face looked straight at me. I was sitting on her palm and I grabbed her thumb peeking over the edge, seeing how far down it was. “Its ok Lars I wont hurt you.” Rhen said in a reassuring voice, but to me it sounded like this ‘iths oohk thlarths eeeee wornnt turth youshh...’ very scary sounding. I glanced around looking for a door or window to jump out of. I blinked, no window, and the door didn’t go straight to outside, they would catch me before I got there. “PleCrooaakk DonCroaak KiCrooaak meeee!” I said covering my eyes with my tiny front toes. Suddenly I felt something warm on the top of my head, Rhen had just kissed me, the frog! She set me down on the stool and I Grabbed my back toes with my front ones rocking back and fourth. Hehehe! She wouldn’t turn me human! Humans were clumsy big, ugly things I lloovveedd being a frog. I got on my back toes and skipped around the stool. I saw a small piece of cloth and tied two ends of it around my neck making myself a cape. I pointed to a little bit of golden paper that Gretchen used for writing on, and then pointed back to my little frog head. Rhen sighed and walked over to it. She cut it with little points and glued the two ends together and set it on the stool. I hopped over to it and placed it on my head, I picked up a little twig on the ground and used it as a scepter. I saw a mirror lying on a table and jumped over to it. Bowing at it looking at my reflection. “Gorgeous! I am!” I said placing my toes on one foot onto the mirror. “Its no good, he’ll be like this forever, I think he has to want to be human again and that’s left him.” Gretchen put her head in her hands and shook her head. “We need to want him to be human again,” Rhen stated. “Is there anything he really wants?” Gretchen asked of course I couldn’t understand any of it ‘cause A. I was doing different thing and watching myself in the mirror and B. Humans were too hard to understand now. “Maybe if he saw his friends again...” Rhen guessed. “Great! How do we get them?” Gretchen brightened up. “That’s the problem, they could be anywhere.” Rhen said. “I’ll ask around town tomorrow. Now you need to watch him all day.” Gretchen pointed to me; I was doing the can-can in the mirror and looking very pleased. “Ok.” Rhen looked worried. “You can run the shop and he can sit on the counter, with his now small froggy brain he could be entertained with that mirror all day, make sure to bring it with you.” She walked over and handed the mirror and me to Rhen. I was then taken to a big room and set on a counter, I stared back at the mirror, and smiled, lalala... Gretchen Gretchen walked through the busy streets of new witch wood looking this way and that; she stopped to speak to her friend Emma. “So what are you up to today?” Emma asked. “Well I turned the green haired one, his name is Lars, into a frog we need to jog his memories so I’m looking for his friends, the blue haired one says that there are two vampires, male and female. The male is suppose to not look like a vampire, and the girl is, and they will be with some others... so if you see them please tell me.” Gretchen walked on looking this way and that. “Flowers, Flowers!” “Poison apples! Get ‘em fresh right here! Poison apples!” The booths were full of different things and everyone looked amazing, but Gretchen wasn’t here to browse, she had something to do. One booth caught her eye, there was a vampire running it, something about black blood or something of the sort, she walked over to it. “May I help you?” The young vampire said, well not young but in vampire age it was young. “Um I was wondering, if you have seen two vampires lately?” She asked, stupid question this one had probably seen hundreds of vampires today! “Uh, yeah... Of course.” He replied looking at her like who are you lady? Crazy!? “Oh dear... she said it was something like neg’al or e’jal or something... oh what was it!” Gretchen raked her brain searching for that name. “Uh, sorry no.” The vampire said. “Oh I have it! Te’ijal!” Gretchen looked hopeful. “Te’ijal! What do you want with her?” The vampire hissed. “Oh! You know her!” Gretchen said in delight. “Yeah, she’s my sister.” The vampire looked frightened, or no that’s the wrong word, but cautious would be better to describe it. “Even better! Where is she?” Gretchen asked. “Why would I tell you?” The vampire said. “I need her help! And fast! You see...” Gretchen said the whole story so fast that no one could understand it. “Woah! Hold up, first my name is Gyendal, and second I don’t know where Te’ijal is right now.” Gretchen’s face fell, she frowned. “But... But...” She managed. “But, I may be able to contact her!” Gyendal said quickly noticing Gretchen’s mood change. Lars I stared at the mirror and thought hard, a new idea popped into my head, I should spin around on the mirror, I would look fabulous like that! I stood up and started spinning, lalala... I spun and spun and then a hand stopped me. “Lars! You about fell off the counter! Bad frog, I mean Human I mean frog, oh what ever you are stay away from the edge!” Rhen scolded, but I didn’t hear her of course, I was thinking about singing, and dancing being a frog was so much fun! I tapped my little toes on the mirror and did a little acting, telling Rhen that I wanted music by pretending to play the fiddle. She sighed and walked over to some sort of magic machine, “What ever you highness wants.” She said and turned the thing on. It started playing music and I pretended to have a dancing partner, holding one hand out in front and heading in one direction then turning around and doing the same the way I had just come, Rhen smiled and sat down. A witch came in the shop and stared at me her mouth falling open. “You’ll catch Crrooaakk flies having your Crooaakk mouth open like that Crooaakk make sure crooaak you save some for cooaakk me.” I told her and she gasped. “What has Gretchen done!?” She said keeping an eye on me, and heading to the counter. “This was a mistake, Can I help you?” Rhen asked the witch. “Uh yes, could you get me some poison root remover?” She asked while watching me make funny faces in the mirror. “What is up with the frog?” She asked. “Um, his little brain is kinda messed up right now, you see he is really a human guy and got turned that way, and he’s loosing it.” Rhen told the lady as she packed a vile into a paper bag. “Thanks the witch said as she set a bad of coins on the table and grabbed her bag, leaving backward so she could look at me. After that more and more witches and vampires came in standing on tiptoe to get a look at me. They didn’t bother me, nothing did, lalala. Gretchen “Come on Te’ijal answer!” Gyendal muttered as he thumped the family amulet absently. “What’s happening?” Gretchen asked looking intently at the amulet. “She should be able to answer! But so far nothing.” He replied. “Wait I hear it! It’s buzzing! Oh here she is!” He said in excitement. “What now!” Te’ijal snapped. Her face appearing on the amulets smooth face. “We have a problem...” He said, stepping aside to reveal Gretchen. “Well what is it! I am busy!” She snarled. “Um... You know Lars?” Gretchen asked. “What! What! Lars! Where is he! Is he ok? Is Rhen there? Is she ok?” Te’ijal’s face brightened as much as a vampress face could. “Um... well they’re ok I guess you could say...” She replied. “What...?” Te’ijal’s face went back to sad. “Well... you see I accidentally turned Lars into something...” Gretchen said with caution. “What! You idiot!” Te’ijal screeched. “Yeah... We think maybe if you and your friends would come Lars might want to be human again...” Gretchen said. “Wait right there! I’m on my way!” Te’ijal’s face disappeared and re appeared with the others behind her. “We are coming through set the amulet on the ground!” She ordered. Gyendal did and as soon as it hit the floor Te’ijal and her group flew from it all landing on their hands and knees or in a heap. Te’ijal was the first up. “Where is he!” and they headed of to Gretchen’s house. Lars I danced in front of the crowd everyone was whispering, who was this marvelous frog? Me, me, me... lalala. The crowed was jostled as some people tried to push threw, how rude! They would have to wait to see me like the others waiting outside. I kept dancing, around and around the mirror. “Move! You fanged and witch hat things! Get out of our way! Move or I’ll bite you!” Te’ijal said, but I didn’t know it was Te’ijal... in fact I was having a hard time even remembering anything... before being this marvelous frog. “Te’ijal!” Rhen shouted and jumped over the counter to hug her friend. “Rhen, Rhen... Its so good to see you.” Te’ijal said hugging Rhen and smoothing her hair. “You too, uh Te’ijal I think there is something you should see...” Rhen said slowly. Te’ijal released Rhen from the hug and stared at her. Gretchen was shooing everyone out of her shop and the group was the only ones left, with Rowan, Gyendal, and Gretchen. “Where’s Lars...?” Elini asked looking nervous. Rhen half smiled and turned to reveal me, she pointed and I stopped dancing. “Hiiiiiii! People! Ooh! Look! Is that a pond I see? Does it be a pond? Does it be?” I hopped up and down in excitement as I looked at a little fountain Gretchen had in her shop. “Ooh a pond! Ooh takes zee there takes zee! Ponds be wonderful! Splishy splashy! Crrooaakk!” I skipped around for good measure. The others mouths fell open and Te’ijal gasped “Lars? Lars! What have you done to him!?” She screeched.

short but sweet! More froggy Lars! No editing was done so it might be weird.
Story time Part 27 That night I sat on Te’ijal’s head, pulling at her spiky hair. “Hummm... Pretty, very nice, very nice indeed.” I said pointing and the hair. “Glad you like it...” Te’ijal said through gritted teeth, she was still very mad at Gretchen and upset about me being a frog, I also had been saying that last statement for the last thirty minutes, so I moved to Rhen’s head. “Ohhh! Even better! Blue... not as nice as a good green swamp but its a little like a pond! Ohh! And your eyes!” I said as a placed my front toes on Rhen’s forehead staring into one of her eyes upside-down. “Oh and you!” I said jumping to Gretchen’s head. “You have the prettiest hair of all! Its green, just like a lovely swamp... lalala.” I tugged at her hair and after a while moved onto Elini’s head. “Oh my! You have the hair of a rainy day... I lloovvee the Rain, its sooooo wet and nice.” I did a little dance on her head, singing a song about dancing in the rain. “You people are all so interesting, never seen anything like it... Or maybe I did, once... Do I know you guys?” I asked and shrugged moving onto Galahad’s head and drumming my toes on him. I then hopped on to the one who they called Rowan’s head, “Oh dear! I do not like this, I do not!” I said frowning. In turn I jumped onto each ones head, commenting on their appearance. I stopped on Mad Marge’s head and looked at her face. “Oh dear! Your face! Its rather like a fish, I feel so sorry for you! I don’t like fish, they like to eat wonderful frogs like myself.” I finished looking at everyone and sat back on a stool in the middle of the circle. “He’s lost it!” Gretchen said in despair. Understanding people had become easier and I could now speak back to them. “Lost what! Is my crown gone! Oh no!” I said feeling my head to make sure the crown was still there. “Oh my... This isn’t good...” Galahad said for like the fiftieth time. “Ok Lars, time for bed.” Rhen sighed and came and picked me up. “Oh dear, couldn’t I sleep in the water...?” I asked. “No! Don’t ever go in the water!” Rhen shouted and all heads turned towards her. “Why can’t he?” Pirate John asked, looking confused. “He’ll dry out!” “Yes, why not?” I asked again. “’Cause I said no! You are never to enter any type of liquid! You understand!?” She said angrily. “Please, please let the lovely frog prince in the water.” I begged. “You see, every time he gets in the water he forgets more and more of his past, wanting more and more to be a frog.” Gretchen explained. The others nodded and fallowed Rhen into the room that was now the guy’s room. Rhen set me on the little throw pillow that was now my bed and covered me with a little cloth. “Night.” She said and walked towards the door. “Aren’t you going to tell the lovely frog a story?” I asked. She sighed and walked back over. “Well once, a long time ago maybe a few years...” She started and I snuggled under the covers enjoying it so far, it sounded slightly familiar but I didn’t know why. “There was a boy, his name was Lars, and he had green hair and bright green eyes.” I loved this story! “Well he went to travel the world and find druids with his friends, Rhen, Mad Marge, Elini, Te’ijal, Pirate John, Galahad and an evil guy named Dameon. But no one knew that Dameon was evil and he stayed with them. Once they had found all the souls of the druids they went back the sun shrine and a door opened. There was a sword of great magic and it was to be used to destroy the evil Ahriman. The end battle went terribly and just when Rhen was about to join Ahriman the brave Lars killed him. The end.” She finished smiling blowing me a kiss. “Ohh! That was lovely! What happened next!?” I asked. “Well, Dameon got away and started to steal powerful things, from people, and the witches and vampires were preparing for battle. The travelers headed to Sedona and met a prince, his name was Rowan he joined their party. Then Lars lost his powers, and ran away. Rhen set search for her friend and found him hurt in the snow.” Rhen went on. “Oh no!” I exclaimed and she went on. “Well they later set off, the whole party together again, but when they went to a contact Rhen and Lars got kidnapped! They were taken to Dameon who wanted Rhen, and wanted Lars dead. Well he didn’t pay enough so they were taken to the underworld and sold to a witch. They worked for the kind witch and one day Lars got turned into a frog, they couldn’t find a cure and Lars could be stuck that way forever, no one knows.” She looked at me intently. “Oh how sad... The frog doesn’t like sad stories. Say doesn’t that Lars person have the same lovely name as I?” I asked her. “Not only that, but he is you, Lars.” She said looking depressed. “No, No liars are no good, no good.” I told her and went to sleep.

thanks to all readers! I really enjoy writing this! Hope you like reading it! here is the next part!
De plan Part 28 Ren and others Rhen walked back into the room walking over to her seat, the others had been waiting for her and now began their discussion. “Is he asleep?” Gretchen asked. “Yeah, he’s out, I had to tell him a story.” Rhen told them. “Ok, we came up with an idea, Lars has a high level of jealousy, and so this plan has to do with you, Rhen.” Te’ijal informed her. “Ok, Rhen you are going to have to find a guy around town and tell him our plan, then you need to get him to follow you around, and invite him to dinner and stuff. Make Lars jealous. Then he will want to be human again, you can try the frog prince thing again, and it might work.” Gretchen said. “Umm.... ok I’ll try it, anything to get Lars back to normal.” Rhen agreed. Rowan snarled, and erased it as quick as he could not wanting anyone to see it, secretly he didn’t want Lars to be human again, and didn’t want another guy hanging around Rhen either. He wanted Rhen to be his queen someday... someday. “Fine, you’ll find one in town tomorrow, now get some sleep everyone.” Gretchen said and walked to her own room. And the others returned to theirs. “Until morning then.” Elini said. “Yeah, until morning.” And they fell asleep. Lars In my dreams the story Rhen had told me replayed in my mind, I was wishing, hoping that I would have frog dreams but no luck. The dream ended and a wonderful dream of bouncing up and down with other frogs, than it hit me, other frogs! I should try and meet some; they were sure to be nice! I woke up and hopped to the kitchen it was morning and the others were already up preparing breakfast. “Oh! Did you make Lars a wonderful yummy breakfast? Is that orange juice? Is it?” I asked. “Yep!” Rhen said as she put a plate in front of a tiny slice of waffle on it, and a little tiny cap with some juice in it. I squealed and jumped onto the plate. I looked over at Rowan looking sourly at me and I jumped sideways, away from him. “Um excuse me, but could someone please remove THAT thing from the prince frog’s presence?” I asked. “He looks like he wants to eat the marvelous frog.” I said, and Rhen asked Rowan to move. “Oh, this is lovely, just lovely! The prince frog approves, he does.” I commented on the waffle that was smothered in syrup. Rhen, Gretchen, and everyone except Galahad and Te’ijal left. They sat in chairs next to me, who was on the table eating the lovely waffle. “Oh my, this is good! Good indeed!” I said with my mouth full. “Well that’s nice...” Galahad replied, looking uncomfortable. “Do you mind if the prince steps outside to chat?” I asked. “Uhh...” Te’ijal thought. “Oh good!” I hopped down and onto the floor. “Will one of you kind people open zee door for zee wonderful frog?” I asked the door was wayyyy up high. Galahad walked over and opened it, and I jumped out. I hopped over to a bit of swamp, and croaked. “Hello? Is anyone home?” If there was I wanted to meet them. A head appeared. “Yes?” It said. “Oh wonderful! Oh lovely! Stupendous! Joyous how divine! Might I ask your name?” I said excitedly, the frog was slightly smaller than me and had a pretty green-brown skin. “Well my name is Croaky like my mother, grand mother, great grand mother, and so on. And who might you be?” She said in a singsong voice. “Oh I be Lars! What beautiful name you be!” I jumped up. The little frog hopped out of the swamp, followed by more frogs, hundreds of other frogs! “To be exact, I am Queen Croaky, queen of the frogs... and queen of this swamp.” She said. The other frogs started to bounce up and down. I heard a mummer of all the frogs, and then Queen Croaky asked something. “They want to know if you would lead them in a line dance.” “A line dance? Oh my! How delightful! Of course I would! Ok frogs of all sorts line up! We need some music!” I told them they all got into lines al together taking up about ten feet of space, width and height. A group of crickets, frogs, toads, and something called a marsh woggle were on one side, with mini drums and other things. They started playing and the dance began. “And one, two, three, one, two, three. Grapevine to the right then to the left, hand in front of you and turn.” It went like that for a long time, with me leading it all the way. This was sooooo much fun... lalala. I tripped on a pebble and fell. “Oww! Ouch! Oh dear my nose! And my cape and crown! What ever shall I do!” I moaned, I had scuffed up my nose and my crown was bent my cape torn. I then left the other frogs dancing and went to explore town. I stomped by the side of the marsh kicking a little pebble along. I passed by a café and stopped, had I just seen a flash of blue? I walked a few steps backward, there it was again, and it was Rhen’s hair. She was sitting at a table laughing, there was a young warlock sitting across from her. “What is the lovely Rhen doing with that bit of pond scum?” I muttered to myself, I stomped into the café and over to their table. I then hopped up onto it, and crossed my little frog arms tapping my foot. Rhen looked somewhat shocked, I suppose it was the beat up look I had. “And who might you be?” I asked squinting my eyes at the warlock. “What happened to you?” Rhen asked. “I tripped.” I stuck my nose in the air, closing my eyes and giving a little sniff. Why did they have to ask, it was so embarrassing, the lovely frog prince actually tripping! “Well hurry and answer, the frog prince is waiting, he is.” I said empatiently. “Oh, um... this is... Kriz...” Rhen said seeming unsure how to pronounce it. I scowled. “Well he is not wanted, he is not!” I stomped my little foot and hopped onto Rhen’s head “We are going home! Now march!” I told her. I gave Rhen a lecture on the way home, on how she shouldn’t go and eat with strangers, and how they could slip poison into the food, and how people were just so evil now a day. She smiled the whole time, like this was just what she had wanted to hear, which is odd ‘cause everyone hates lectures. I sat and waited in the living room while I made Gretchen sew my cape and Rhen make me a new crown. I also wanted a hot bath, but Rhen shouted “no” again so I didn’t get one. Rhen and acted very excited and spoke to the whole group, saying that it was working, what ever that was. “It worked! It worked! Just think I might really work!” She spun in a circle. “How can you be happy at a time like this! My crown is broken and my cape is ripped! Oh and my poor nose!” I squealed. The next day that Kriz guy came over for dinner, and stayed after to play cards with us, and I brilliantly refused to play with him. So I sat watching as he sat close to Rhen, and asked her questions. I sat in a moody position crossing my eyes, and fitting in nasty remarks whenever I could. “Oh that was a good play Kriz.” Rhen said. “Well, as you all know the marvelous frog could do better.” I commented. Te’ijal snickered. “Yeah, we all know that Lars.” Te’ijal tossed her cards in the air and caught them all before they hit the ground. “Oh! How wonderful! Do it again!” I said in excitement. She flipped them in the air and caught them. “You like that one?” She asked me and I nodded my head like a hundred times. I smiled and picked me up; she patted me on the head and showed me her cards. I gasped. “Oh joyous!” I said and whispered something in her ear. “Ok so now we should like rig the game, so no matter what the Kriz guy plays he will always get the stack!” I hopped up and down as she put all the cards in front of her and shuffled them, in the very special way that only her and I knew. That she could give a certain person certain cards. “Ok humans.” She said as she handed out the cards, making sure that Kriz got the slightly larger stack. The next day the Kriz made me really mad. I was once again sitting in the living room, watching them speak. That Kriz guy actually hugged Rhen! I gave a short gasped, memories flooding back to me. Memories of me receiving Rhen’s hugs, and rolling down a hill also with Rhen. Having a snowball fight and getting pressed into the snow, also by Rhen. All those times came back and a tiny frog tear ran down the side of my face, it dropped on to the stool and was fallowed by another. I cried silently, and inside of my brain everything came back to me, all that we had gone through, and then this. Being a frog, and everything swirled in my head all this was overwhelming. “Lars, are you crying?” Rhen asked. I covered my eyes with my front toes, and sobbed. Human, that’s what I wanted to be, back to normal. That night I lay in my own bed, the big one; I had to feel like I was normal, so Galahad was now sleeping on the floor. I had fallen to sleep, sprawled out tears running down my face. Rhen Rhen opened the door, and crept in she dodged the sleeping forms of Galahad, Rowan, and pirate John and made her way over to the bed where Lars, the frog, was sleeping. She reached him, and stared. She leaned down and kissed the frog Lars, hopefully the last three days had worked. Before her eyes, Lars changed, grew and was now human. Happy tears filled her eyes and she covered her mouth with her hand. His face was tear streaked and pale. If you looked at him you would never notice that he had once been a frog. His cloak was dirty, and Rhen thanked Gretchen in her mind that it wasn’t his real one. Lars would have been really mad if it was. She walked out of the room smiling everything was fine. Everything was fine when Lars was there, everything would always be ok if Lars was there, it always was.

(If the first part is confusing its ‘cause Lars doesn’t know he is human again yet. Sort’a weird but, all in all... it shout be self-explanatory.) also when Gyendal turns bad in av3 in my story it is because, Gretchen died and he is really mad, I no really weird, but it works.
Saved from frog stats. Part 29 Lars The next morning I felt strange, a tear slipped down my face, human if only I could be human again. Everything didn’t seam as big today, maybe it was because I had slept in the big bed, I don’t know. I walked into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes someone gasped. Everyone seamed to be in a good mood. The chair seamed smaller and I got a big breakfast. “What’s going on? The prince wants to know.” I asked. Rhen chuckled. “You know your human again right?” She half smiled. My mouth dropped open. “Human! How?” I asked smiling, I looked down and my hand was normal. Everything was back to normal! Rhen blushed. “Rhen saved you.” Te’ijal said. Not giving away anything specific. But I didn’t need to know, why would I all that mattered was that I was human! The thought that Rhen was the one to save me just made it better. I ate all my food, it surprised my how hungry I was, Gretchen said it was because I hadn’t eaten much as a frog so being a human the food amount stayed the same, therefore making it as if I had only eaten one meal in the last few days. Was it just me or was Rowan really upset? I took a really long bath and during it I looked around, my back wound was healed! So was my arm, I no longer hurt all over... and I hadn’t heard from Dameon in a long time. I reached to my neck, feeling something cold and hard there. I touched it and a wave of warmth fell over me. My locket, it hadn’t sent me anything from the light, Rhen’s locket in a long time it now spoke up. “The light is very happy. So very glad that the dark is back.” It said, I grinned I’d never get over the way it sounded. “Can you reply to the light for me?” I asked it. “I can do that. What is the message?” It asked. “Well tell her that I so very glad that she’s happy, and tell her I’m happy too, and I’m still wondering how she got me back to be a human.” I told it and smiled, maybe she would throw Rowan out now. The locket startled me. “Well she says that maybe some other day, she might tell you how you became human again... but not today.” It said, I sneered. Oh well, I’d get it out of her someday, I always did. I dried off and put my cloak on, the blue one, and my cloak. It felt amazing, like flowing water on my skin. My staff felt more powerful than it had in a long time; it wasn’t amazingly strong, but not weak like it use to be. I walked out of the bathroom; Rhen was waiting outside the door, in tears. I stood there stunned as she took one step and fell on me, giving me a really big hug, still tears falling down her face. She didn’t let go, just kept hugging me. “What’s wrong?” I whispered into her ear, hugging her back. She shook her head that was still on my shoulder. “Nothing... nothing. It’s just, so good to have you back.” She said. Tears started to fall from my eyes, “Its good to be back, I missed you.” I said. Everything went black as I shut my eyes, tears still sliding down my face. This was the saddest, happiest hug I’d ever experienced. We finally broke apart both in tears, I smiled, and she smiled back. Nothing could have made that moment better. I walked down the hall with her, and when we entered the kitchen all heads turned towards us. “What’s up with you two?” Te’ijal asked, seeing tears fall down both of our faces. “Did your puppy just die?” She added. “Nothing is wrong, just a best friends moment.” Rhen said moving to go eat some chocolate, ‘cause everyone knows chocolate makes you feel really good, unless you eat too much. “Besides we don’t even have a puppy.” I said and moved to join Rhen and grabbed some chocolate. “Well are you going to tell us or not?” Elini asked. “Ummm... how about not? Just a happy moment.” I said. I mean what else could I tell them? I didn’t even know how to explain what had just happened. The rest of the day was painful, we had to say goodbye to Gretchen and Gyendal. It turned out that Gyendal proposed to Gretchen. We were all shocked, especially Te’ijal, but we got over it. We left a smile on all our faces, well all our faces except Rowan. We stopped at a café for lunch and it was kina nice. We sat at a round table/booth at a far end of the room. I sat next to Rhen who sat next to Rowan, she didn’t seam to want to sit next to him, but she couldn’t tell him to move. The waiter came and we ordered our food. Rhen: salad, steak, mash potato, and ice tea. Te’ijal: steak, steak, and more steak, with also some ice tea. (Huh, not blood well that odd.) Galahad: Shrimp, fish, and something else that was seafood, and wine. Mad Marge: Coconut salad, coconut covered corn, and coconut milk. Elini: Spaghetti, and ice water. Pirate John: also spaghetti and ice water. Rowan: escargot, vinegar chips, and eww... that all sounded gross! Just royalty sense of taste! Me: Corn, mash potatoes, and ice tea. Yum. Our food arrived like an hour later, and we all ate, not speaking for a long time. Finally we had enough in our stomachs to speak. We had a joyful conversation about things that had been happening. Later where we were all getting out of our seats, Rowan threw up, Right on Rhen’s shoe. “Watch it!” Rhen snapped. “Sorry my lady!” Rowan said, and Rhen’s face softened, and my locket spoke up. Now remember that I am the only one who can hear my locket. “She is thinking of the time when Elini splattered her and you with hot coco.” It said, it sounded like it was chuckling. I smiled and slapped rowans back as I passed him. “We all do it sometimes, though for other reasons, like exhaustion, and being kicked in the stomach.” I said. He snarled, and glared at me in such a way that only I could see it. He hated me with all he had. I could feel it. When we got outside, I knelt down and with a paper towel I had gotten inside wiped off Rhen’s shoe. “Thank you Lars!” She said. I got up and smiled at her, the sticky wonderful sad happy moment from earlier playing in my head. My best friend, she’d always be my best friend, forever. We were standing on a cliff looking down at Witches and vampires preparing for battle, I had a sudden urge to jump off. So I did. I fell and fell hearing Rhen scream and Te’ijal hiss. Just before I hit the bottom I put my staff in the air above me dark power shooting from it. I was surrounded in darkness, looking like a shadow or silhouette rising from the ground. I spun in the air, around and around, darkness spinning from me, light and darkness swirling around my locket, a burst of electricity shot down my staff, swirling it with dark and light. The orb on top of it was light and dark, no longer red. The gasps of the others were lost to my in my dark mist, my head snapped back and my face turned pale, almost white. My eyes sprung open dark and light swirling in them like flames, very creepy looking. Then I was falling, darkness subsiding, but still around me I fell to the ground in front of my friends, I lay still my face still white, my eyes still open and light and dark still swirling in them. I lay sprawled out, staff still having electricity coming out of it. Rhen’s locked was shining brightly too. Her locket drew Rhen to me; she knelt down and with one shaky finger touched the blue stone in the middle of my locket. Darkness shot up her arm and soon her face turned pale and her eyes had the same flame like darkness and light dancing in them. An echoed sound in my head said, “The light is connected to the dark, everything happens for a reason Lars... Everything has a purpose... don’t forget that... I leave you now Lars.... the light and dark will be one... someday, all thoughts as one and far away still heard, over seas, and land, ice or flames. Nothing can destroy it, nothing but you.” In side of Rhen’s head, “Dark is connected to the light, everything happens for a reason Rhen... Everything has a purpose... Do not forget that... I leave you now Rhen... The dark and light will be one... someday, all thoughts as one and far away still hears, over seas, and land, ice or flames. Nothing can destroy it, nothing but you.” Back to Lars Everything was, dark yet light at the same time. To bright and far to dark, I hear someone calling me, Rhen. “Lars, what just happened.” Yet her mouth didn’t move, the voice had come from me, my mind. Then it was over, the light from my staff and dark from myself, and all went into my locket. My face returned to normal, so did Rhen’s and I stood up. Confidence, and power, I was back, but more powerful than ever. My staff was now black and little streaks of light danced on it. Lets just say Rowan didn’t look pleased, but Rhen, Te’ijal and the others were. I had my powers back, they all could tell.

Oh bother
Part 30 We headed down to Te’ijal’s old burnt down house; there were fifty vampires there. When they saw Te’ijal they started backing away, but Te’ijal shouted for them to stop. “Fallor, what are you doing here!” Te’ijal grabbed her cousin by the arm and wouldn’t let go. “Nothing. What are you doing here?” Fallor said sneering. “None of your business!” Te’ijal let go of Fallor’s arm. “Oh I do believe it is my business, and if you don’t tell me I’ll hurt you! You won’t even be able to defend yourself, you always were the weak one of the family.” Fallor said, showing his fangs. I rolled my eyes. “Oh I see that green one has an attitude problem! Don’t roll your eyes boy!” Fallor scowled. “Well your not getting anything our of me Fallor. But I need some answers from you.” Te’ijal crossed her arms; she was slightly smaller than Fallor, and the rest of the vampires with him. Galahad stepped up behind Te’ijal resting a hand on her shoulder and saying. “We should just go.” “You are asking for it Te’ijal, I could really hurt you...” Fallor prodded. I groaned, we could be here all day... Fallor grabbed me. “What?” He hissed, I stood there in front of him, my arms crossed. “Well first of all Te’ijal could flick you all the way to the other end of the under world, and the rest of us could kill you with no problem. I really don’t think it would be good if you tried to fight us...” I said this made Fallor even madder, and he motioned for the others to get ready to fight us, just what I had wanted. We formed a group, I was good enough to make Rowan, and Mad Marge stay behind us, I mean they would have like died the first second. Rhen, Te’ijal, and I formed the front, Rhen and Te’ijal thought I should be in the back, just in case my powers weren’t back, but I wanted to try them out. This was too easy! I held out my staff and black mist came from it, surrounding one of them. They turned to ash in the first second. We moved through the crowd, and I turned fifteen into ash, Te’ijal was grinning at me, Rhen gave me a high five as we battled side by side. Elini and Pirate John were protecting Rowan and Mad Marge, I heard Rowan say once “But she’ll die out there!” And Elini snort, “She could kill that whole group herself, there just doing this for practice.” But then I moved on and couldn’t hear them any more. It was over in about ten minutes leaving only Fallor standing, Te’ijal had said not to kill him. “What... but you were the odd weak one... Always looking at the light...” He was breathing hard, and looked like he would pass out. “Not weak any more.” Te’ijal shrugged. “None of us are weak. Now tell me what were you searching the ashes of my house for?” “Um... an artifact.” He said finally catching his breath. “What artifact?” Te’ijal said pointing to me, telling me to be ready to turn him to ash, Fallor saw this and confessed. “A soul! That’s all! Just a soul!” He said looking at me with disgust. “Just a soul! Just! Let me tell you soul are worth something, worth something to the ones who have them. You should learn that, they are important. Now who’s soul were you looking for?” Te’ijal’s eyes lit with anger. “Why should I tell you?” He said crossing his arms. “Because I’ll kill you if you don’t! Now who was it?” “Ahriman.” Fallor answered. Te’ijal had taken Ahriman’s soul when he died, no one knew where she had put it, but I now guessed that when she went to burn her house she had thrown the soul in and it was destroyed. “Well its gone, forever. Why do you want it?” She told him. “Dameon wants it, you do know who Dameon is right?” Fallor looked like he was getting frustrated. “Curse you cousin, you should not have spoken with that half brained fool! Never shall you live again if the other vampires hear of this, they are ready to destroy Dameon and all humans.” With that we turned and walked away. After a one mile I noticed a tear falling down Te’ijal’s cheek, she was crying! Te’ijal actually crying! “What?” I fell into step next to her, Rhen joined me, she had been listening to Rowan jabber on about something and had gotten really bored. “I need to see if my older siblings are alive, I have to find them.” She said and started coughing. I nodded, I wasn’t going to stop her, no one was I would make sure of that. “Next stop, Te’ijal’s brother and sister!” Rhen said we turned a corner and opened the gateway. We climbed up and out the light was blinding even though it was raining. We were soaked in the first minute. There was mists all over and we slowly made our way to a library in Veldarah, Te’ijal then asked the person working there if they had a record of citizens, they did and we started to flip through the pages. After an hour we finished looking through the book, Te’ijal’s brother and sister weren’t in it. We waited at Shadwood Academy till the rain had slowed enough then headed to the southern isle, the book had held all the citizens on the eastern isle, and they weren’t there. None of us were up for any more cold weather, so heading to the northern isle was out, besides we were pretty sure they weren’t there. Our search for them ended at the Velt, Te’ijal was so happy. I knocked on the door, at first nothing but then a lady opened it. “Kemmie?” Te’ijal asked. Although Kemmie should have been dead, her vampire life span stayed the same, so had her brothers. “Yes?” Kemmie said, and then noticed that Te’ijal was a vampire. “Te’ijal!” She shouted and ran over to her rapping her in a hug. Rallite came running and also grabbed Te’ijal into a hug. They were all crying and smiling, Te’ijal looked so happy. Two hours later we were eating dinner in Kemmie’s and Rallite’s dining room, everyone was so happy, Te’ijal was happy to see her siblings and we were happy to see Te’ijal happy. We stayed one week with them, but eventually had to leave, a world to save from a half headed guy and all. Everyone was sad to go, but we had to. The plan was to go back to Sedona, and stock up before a battle with the witches and vampires. Mad Marge left us, she said that battle just wasn’t for her and was going to go work for the squirrels. We were sad to see her go, but she really wanted to and we didn’t want her to get hurt in the end battle. So we departed, she took a passenger ship, and we waved until we couldn’t see the ship anymore. The oracle appeared on the ship to speak to us, thought I was feeling sea sick and so was Rhen, and I think it might have been connected with the lockets. I’m guessing that pain can be shared through them, or transferred from one to the other. “You aren’t finished, Dameon is growing stronger, you need to get to the items he is getting before he does, he has people connected to him all over the world. So they get the item and he comes and picks it up, then makes potions with them. Their potions make him stronger, and give him power. The locations should mainly be by the shores, now move little ones! You have work to do!” Then she disappeared. I wasn’t too happy about her calling us little ones, but the seasickness over took me and I had to go lay down. A sudden jolt awakened me, I was thrown from my bed and onto the floor, rolling around and I hit a wall. I got on my hands and knees, I could hear Rhen groaning, she also had been thrown from her bed. I walked quickly down the corridor, stopping at the girl’s room. I opened the door, Rhen was lying on the ground Groaning. I Ran over to her, the ship gave another jolt and she crumpled into a ball. She hit the other wall, I winced that had to have hurt. I grabbed her hauling her to her feet she clung to my arm. We walked fast to the upper deck and were soaked with salty water, Te’ijal had managed to stay on her feet and was looking over the edge. “What is happening?” I shouted to be heard. “Sea monster!” Elini yelled running down the deck, “Te’ijal, Lars I’m going to need your help! Quick to the end of the ship!” She ordered. Rhen was still clinging to me and ran with me to the end of the ship. Rowan came out and yelled, “This is terrible! What an outrage! What is going on?” I rolled my eyes and stopped at where Te’ijal and Elini were standing. “We are going to use magic! Elini you go first!” Te’ijal yelled. Elini used all her magic, but the sea monster kept attacking. “Your powers aren’t doing anything to it! I’ll try next!” Te’ijal’s words just reached me when they were whisked away again. Te’ijal tried all her magic it had no effect. “Go Lars quick! Do whatever just do something!” Elini screamed. I held out my staff and murmured the words ‘iz kattor vammish!’ it meant black flame, black flames shot from my hand hitting the monsters face, darkness fell over it and it was still, dead. Rhen looked up at me, and a look of astonishment over came her. Sickness went through me and I leaned over the side of the boat and threw up. We reached the port hours later, with bruises and aching bones, most of us had gotten knocked around allot. We ran down the docks looking for a ship called the J-shadow, it was between the final goodbye and the mace. A man was on deck and we jumped on behind him, he whirled around. “What do shu swant?” He asked with a weird accent. “We want the items. The ones for Dameon.” Rhen said stiffly. The man snapped his fingers and people with weapons game on deck. “Ohhh, but such a pretty face should not deal with such dangerous things!” He said making Rhen really mad. “This pretty face can kill you with a swipe of her sword, now hand them over!” Rhen said straitening up from the place where she had landed. The man sneered, my turn to comment. “You are really bad at speaking and sneering!” I told him, making his face turn red. Have I mentioned how I do not like pink or red skin? The others started battling and Rhen and I searched the deck, it wasn’t up there. One thing left to do, go under. We ran to the hatch and hopped down, we stopped at several rooms, and it wasn’t there. We reached the captains office and entered. There sitting in the chair behind the desk with her feet up on the table, spinning a dagger was Jay. “Oh, good your just in time. She snapped her fingers and someone grabbed Rhen, dragged her behind the counter and gagged her. Jay stood up and stepped over to where Rhen was being held captive. Someone grabbed my staff and brought it to Jay. I could feel fear, and anger in my locket, coming from Rhen. “You see Lars I have a bigger part in this than you thought.” Jay said testing the dagger on her finger blood spurted out and she grinned. “If you don’t join me, Rhen’s pretty little neck wont be anymore.” She said holding the dagger to Rhen’s throat. I saw panic on Rhen’s face; she looked at me, helplessly. “Anything! Just don’t hurt her!” I said, my throat feeling tight. Jay pressed the dagger closer to Rhen’s neck. “Anything?” She asked, snarling. “Yes! Just don’t hurt her!” I practically screamed. She pressed the dagger a little closer, and a tiny drop of blood came from Rhen’s neck, she winced. I wouldn’t let this happen, I closed my eyes and thought hard; it was really difficult to do anything with out my staff. “Tar Ven strak” I said, holding out my hand towards Jay. She dropped the dagger, grasping at her neck pulling at the invisible thing that choked her, so did the guard holding Rhen captive. Rhen pulled out the gag and ran to me wrapping her arms around me. She was crying, I patted her hair, awkwardly and looked toward Jay, she looked scared. “You gave me no choice. You will die now.” I told her and she fell to the floor her face turning gray. I had just killed Jay, and it bothered me, in a way. Rhen finally let go of me and looked where I was looking, she saw Jay dead on the floor. “What did you do?” She asked. I swallowed, “I killed her, but it was her or you.” I shook my head and grabbed Rhen’s arm walking to the still body of Jay, I knelt down and took a bottle that she had been holding from her hand. I said ‘Dameon’ on the front; I stood up and dropped it. It shattered on the floor. We walked back on deck Rhen clinging to me, a trickle of blood running down her neck. It turned out she was the only one to even get a scratch the others had been fine. Of course Te’ijal questioned us and I had to tell the whole story, it wasn’t that long just... oh never mind. The point was that we had stopped the first ship, and Dameon wouldn’t get his potion.

Good-bye!
Part 31 We headed to our house it took us twenty minutes because people kept stopping us wanting us to buy cheese. We ended up buying like forty and gave them all to beggars. Rhen then saw an advertisement for a ballet and insisted we go, she said that it could help our fighting. Though I was like... how? That night we sat in red plush seats watching people jump across a stage in uncomfortable clothing and looking silly. I asked Rhen why she had wanted to go and she said that she thought it would have been more interesting. “Hey maybe this one will be better!” Rhen exclaimed pointing to a spot on the program, it was up next. “It says fight at dawn.” It turned out that fight at dawn was two people dancing, one suppose to be day and the other night, and the night didn’t want day to come and the day did want day to come. It was really dumb. I groaned as the next one came, song of the swans... have you ever heard a swan? They don’t sound that great. They met their standards they danced just as well as a swan sings. There were thirteen left and by now we were all fidgeting and groaning. “Do you think we could sneak out?” I asked Rhen shook her head. “We have the front row...” Rhen rolled her eyes as some people dressed as little forest animals came on stage, leaping and spinning and stuff. “We could like leave one at a time... and then run?” Te’ijal asked, looking at the ballet dancers like they were chocolate cookies. Rhen handed me the bag of popped corn and I grabbed some. Rowan was the only one seaming to enjoy any of it muttering something about culture of the century. “Good idea.” Rhen agreed, “Te’ijal you go first. Meat us in the lobby.” Te’ijal stood up and made her way to the isle, then walked upward to the curtain that lead to the lobby and snack counter. She slipped out and we waited two minutes and let Elini go fallowed by pirate John. Rhen insisted that we wait longer, so we wouldn’t look odd. Finally we shoved Rowan out of his seat and forced him and Galahad to go to the lobby. Six minutes after that we fallowed, we heard someone say, “Hey it that those people who were raiding the ship earlier?” I breathed a sigh of relief when we joined the others. That had been awful. As we walked out the door the guards bowed at Rowan, I rolled my eyes and kept walking. Rowan stopped and started speaking to the guard, Galahad stomped back to him, and of course it had to start raining. “Come on Rowan.” Galahad said grabbing Rowan’s shoulder. “I am speaking to citizens of Sedona, do not bother me.” Rowan shrugged off Galahad’s hand. “Come now, it is raining we need to get home.” Galahad told him, he didn’t listen. “I will only be a minute.” Rowan looked at Galahad and turned back to the guard. “You were saying?” “Come now!” Galahad grabbed Rowan’s arm. “Hay you! The prince doesn’t want to be bothered!” The guard yanked Galahad around. I snickered; the guard was out in less than five seconds down on the ground and out cold. Galahad grabbed Rowan and dragged him over to us. “Run!” He shouted. The guards were after us, we could have just beat them us... but... they weren’t bad guys so we went going to. There were now puddles on the streets it was raining so hard, and we trumped through them like there was death chasing us. We lost the guards and stopped in front of our house, breathing hard and smiling. I had almost forgotten the vampires and witches planning to destroy all humans, but I didn’t. All our hair was wet and clung to our faces, all of us had mud up to our knees, and our boots were soaked through. I could feel my lockets power spinning inside it, if only things could be so simple, so easy, but nothing stayed that way for long, it never did. If my locket held secretes then what would happen? If the I destroyed the bond between the two... But some of the brightest moments are on cloudy days. Rowan looked at Rhen the whole time we spun around and stood in the rain, everyone did it accept him. The next afternoon he self to visit speak to his father and mother. Elini, Rhen and I stayed home while the others went to stop a ship. Later around nine Rowans came back looking pleased. Rhen Rowan walked into the living room where she was standing, she stood up. “Hello Rowan.” She said. Lars and Elini weren’t there they had gone to the port to see if the others had returned. “Rhen I have a question.” Rowan said walking over to her. “Yes...?” Rhen said cautiously. “Umm... would you do the honor of being my queen?” He asked. He held out a little box with a ring in it. Rhen stared at the ring, not knowing where he had just gone. Lars and Elini walked to the door and Lars leaned on the doorframe Elini behind him. He had a feeling Rowan would do this tonight. Roan was kneeling on the ground in front of Rhen holding out a ring. “No.” Rhen said. Rowan looked shocked. “What?” He asked. “I said no. You are dismissed from our party.” Rhen folded her arms and looked down at Rowan. Lars I could believe my ears had Rhen just said no? I half smile appeared on my face, AND she had also told him to leave the party! I looked back at Rowan kneeling there stunned. I walked over and hauled him up, “Leave.” I told him and he hurried to the door. “You’ll regret this!” He yelled back. Not likely I thought. He slammed the door behind him and it opened again a few second later and Te’ijal stepped in with the others. “What’s wrong with Rowan?” She asked. I smiled. “Rhen kicked him out.” I told her, Rhen smiled too. “He wanted me to marry him.” She added, and shook her head, “How stupid of him, if he thinks for one minute that a warrior is going to sit around all day and listen about politics he doesn’t know a thing about me.” “So did you stop the ship?” I asked. Te’ijal nodded and we all went to go eat dinner, which was really late... Spaghetti!

Oh, Avey, it's brilliant! Can't wait for more... you're getting to be such a good writer, I didn't think you had it in you at first... besides those silly little stories about monsters or butterfly human hybrids... make a statement, contradict it, make another statement, contradict it... haha! Anyway, this is brilliant, and I'm sure that Shymeara is VERY happy about how you ended that, seeing that was what she wanted from when Rowan first jointed the party... well, she wanted Rhen to kill him or punch him or something, but this is almost as good! Okay, I'll stop talking now.

Now people... I think the dream part is best when you listen to non word music... I listened to the spiriting away soundtrack while writing his dream so maybe you should find it on youtube and listen while you read it makes it a lot better.
Dream Part 32 That night I turned in bed; Rhen had refused Rowan... she said that it was because she wasn’t going to be stuck as queen... Was that really why? The display of the earlier had been gross; Pirate John had thrown up noodles. Everyone thought it was because he was allergic... was that really why? Or had the earlier seen of Rowan made him sick... Rowan makes ME sick... so why not Pirate John? I turned in bed again, thoughts not stopping in my head. If I could only get to sleep! It was three in the morning and I couldn’t keep my eyes shut for more than twenty seconds! I had made my mind up. Te’ijal had never eaten a human, and that was final, nothing could change my mind about that... nothing that is except for Te’ijal. Though I don’t think that Te’ijal would ever admit to or speak about such a thing. I turned again. Rowan... what a stuck-up and princely name... would he come after us, and demand Rhen to come away to the castle with him? If he did he would have a fight... and unless he had an army with him it would only last a second... if he DID have an army it would last... Te’ijal eats those... and Galahad stabs.... Rhen takes this half with moi... Ha! It would last one minute ten second and three fifths of a millisecond! Genius! Brilliant! Give myself a pat on the shoulder. I then fell to the control of the dreamers. I was in the sky no wings or other contraption held me up, I was just THERE. Rhen was below and lifted up her hands and I soared down to her, I took her hand and lifted her up with me. We soared high above everything and laughed. “Faster! Faster!” Rhen cried. I shot upward and we past a cloud, avoiding getting soaked. Then I shot downward straight to the water below. Rhen put out a finger to trail through the water as I flew inches above it. The fireflies came and surrounded us the only real light in the almost night. I took her other hand and we spun around and around, a firefly landed on her cheek and told her something, she laughed. The whole thing was beautiful, us spinning above the water, the fireflies and the reflection of light in Rhen’s eyes. I then flew her home as dawn was approaching. She landed lightly on the grass in on the hilltop where I had first seen her and lifted her up with me. I soared back upward until Rhen’s waving figure was distant, a final glance and wave then I shot up through the sky.

Squirrel
Part 33 “One two three! Git zee move on Mad Marge!” The little squirrel yelled. Mad Marge pulled in another basket of mini helmets. The squirrels marched around and around the field not stopping for hours. Mad Marge had been accepted into the squirrel’s army for one reason, and one pay. They thought it would be less work to have a giant working for them, and they would only have to pay it corn. Corn was something they had far too much of so they didn’t have any worries of having to let Mad Marge go. The commander sat on a stump and started to count. The only problem with it, Mad Marge, was that she couldn’t count to save her life. Though he had always hated math he couldn’t give the important job of counting to any of the lesser squirrels. “One zundred two... one zundred three...” This was going to take days! The commander scowled, this was a dull job. A fly landed on his nose and he sneezed, making the fly disappear, probably half way to the other end of the earth by now the moody little squirrel thought and went back to counting. Drat! That human had dropped a bag of explosives on her foot! Stupid girl! “Be careful! ZYou’ll blow zus all zin to a zhousand roasted pieces!” He shouted and the girl quickly picked the bag back up. “Lazy humaz” The squirrel muttered and went back to counting. Why had she left her friends...? Left them for this? She should have at least stayed until the end, now she would never feel fulfilled, never finished. Not that she had ever finished much... someday she would see her brother, and would he be scared of her friends! Ha! But if her friends wouldn’t come... then it wouldn’t work! “CRAP!” Mad Marge shouted as she dropped yet another heavy basket of helmets on her foot. “Now, now Mad Marge zlets not wake up zee whole entzire woods...” The commander said as he came to count the helmets that had just been dropped on her rather sore foot. “One zhousand two... one zhousand tree...” The captain went on. Mad Marge rolled her eyes, they were ridicules about having enough helmets for each and every squirrel. Not that it mattered, and not that anyone cared but her foot would probably be purple for the next week. She groaned and went back to work.
