The Witches & Warlocks Guild
Enter of your own will To a place Of magic and sorcery Of charm and trickery Come embrace the darkness Be part of us... Welcome to the Witches and Warlocks of Amaranthia! We thank you all beforehand for taking the time to hear what we have to say. Call it W&W in short, it is established in a time long forgotten with its history stretches far beyond the Dark Ages. It is hard to tell how we came about or exactly who founded it. Our present leader is as mysterious as the Guild itself – we know he is there among us, yet we couldn’t know where. As time passes, so does our Guild grow and thrive with new members bringing in novel ideas and customs. We are unique individuals; but one thing being common in us is our legendary forthrightness. For we see the truth. And the truth is anything but pretty. As the saying goes, there are things in life that we have to deal with that is not always easy. Now, let’s move on to the significance of W&W: A Witch is a female practitioner in the field of Dark Arts. Rulers of Fate and Weavers of Dark Magic, they bind the will of the ever growing number of lost souls and bid them into serving their mistresses. They are also seen riding on broomsticks, for recreational purposes, accompanied with a black cat or a green toad. Hear their cackling laughter as they go, and cower in fear. A Warlock is a male Black Mage. Masters at the art of Deception and Traps, they ensnare those who dare infiltrate their domain. A spell book and a wand may often be seen among them, but some might prefer having a blade as a weapon, a dagger or a rapier for example, and have the tendency of stealing and assassinating. Nothing feels as thrilling and as satisfying as to have a sharp metal slicing through the soft skin of those who cross their path. Let’s not be frightened by us. We may be cruel and unforgiving from the outside, but we are gentle and loving from the inside. With this said, allow us to conclude this overture with yet another warm welcome to you all to the Guild of Witches and Warlocks. Rest in Peace ~BeMused Guild Roster/Bios Lich King: VladTaltos Rhiannon's Whip: Maren Rhiannon's Whip (Maren) is the Black Queen of the Witches and Warlocks and co-founder of the W&W guild. Though she currently takes no part in its governance, she is extremely loyal to the W&W and ferociously protective of its members. She welcomes those who join the guild with true intentions and stands against all outsiders who would threaten its inviolacy. She may usually be found in the W&W Guild HQ or in her cottage, The Den of Iniquity. Tempestarii Knight: Argoyle The Tempestarii Knight, Argoyle, being one of the longest-serving members of the Witches & Warlocks Guild and of Amaranthia, itself, is Captain of the Guard and High Protector of the W&W. You will most often find him standing guard at the W&W Headquarters or entertaining guests in Gargoyle Manor. Should you be foolish enough as to pose a threat to any W&W member or innocent Amaranthian, you'd best be running when the Knight's eyes glow yellow and the hairs on your neck stand on end. On second thought, don't bother running; it's already too late. Chaos Bane: Nick Demon Hunter: Frost_Star The Black Dagger: Kleptin Nebet Sekhmet's Heir: Mythra Shadow Weaver: BeMused I am BeMused, previously known as Ogre. You don't see me much. And if you do, don't be afraid. Appearance can be deceiving; what you see may not be my real physical self. I am a healer by nature and profession, and I may be the right person to seek out for some unconventional help... for a suitable sum of fee. Be warned, though, I may seem to be easy-going, but am fiercely protective of the things which I treasure. As you already know, healing magic can turn out to be quite destructive, too. I am the maker of the best lollies in all of Amaranthia. I am one that is quick to assist my brothers and sisters when needed. My talent for the dark arts aid me well during times of war and my healing abilities allow me to heal and protect myself and others. I am one that will stand by you but be warned... if ever crossed be warned...the howling of the wind or the figure in the shadows may just be me. The Palace of Mysterious Joy High Necromancer of the Skies: Tei The Dark Mistress Of Xian: LaraCroft21 My title, given by birth, is The Dark Mistress of Xian. I have no preference to what you address me as: Dark Mistress, Mistress Xian, or just Mistress is all fine. Being forced to leave my home and travel the world led me to the Kingdom of Amaranthia. I was immediately drawn to the W&W Guild. It felt like I was home again. My home is adorned with all sorts of artifacts that I’ve "acquired" through my travels or had passed down to me through the generations. My library is my most precious room in my home; filled with books, scrolls, manuscripts - you name it - I will most likely have a copy. Most are relating to topics of dark magic and weaponry, plus some on light magic (good to know your enemy). From my travels across the kingdom and many other far and mysterious places, I’ve learned new languages and trained in many different styles of fighting and weapons. Because of my siren heritage, I am deeply connected to the element of water. My magic includes songs whose powerful sounds and melodies I can use both to curse and to bless. Though my stay in the Enchanters' guild taught me to develop my skills and master other aspects of magic, later I found the path that I was truly meant to follow - that of a witch. Here in the shadows of the W&W guild, I now dwell contently, always ready to improve my skills and to use them for the sake of myself and my guild. Now that I have decided to embrace the Dark part of the stars, I will burn to ashes and freeze to the soul anyone who dares to attack my friends. This land is inhabited by only a few people and is sealed away from the rest of the world. I left my dear island in hope of finding something new...this is when I came across the Kingdom of Amaranthia. And now this new world has given me everything that I have wanted and I am Guild member. I may look evil on the outside but, inside, I am very kind  .Visit me in my home, the Castle of Terror. Phantom of Amaranthia: daeva_agas I am daeva_agas, the Phantom of Amaranthia. You can call me agas, with a small "a", or d_a. I am the owner and headmaster of the Daeva Collegium. Feel free to drop by anytime. I dabble in various types of magic (summoning, curses, transformation, you name it) and I also like to practice swordsmanship when I have time. I think Ahriman tried to recruit me once, but I ran away. The guild mods (Argoyle in this case) update the member lists every once in a while, so don't be surprised if the latest aren't here.

Ooh! The bios are cool. I never noticed them before. Too bad a whole lot of them are missing, and probably a lot of them are inactive too. I've been checking peoples pages, and a lot of them last logged in in the middle of the summer-ish. It's as though there was just a big exodus right then... Anyways, great guild outline! Not my thing, but still.

This seems fun. I've wanted to join W&W since last year's festival. That was fun. Oh well, three weeks more max, I suppose. It's been 1.5 years. First Enchanters but I like W&W more now.
