Cool game kuro! I downloaded it and started it... I love puzzle-type games... eh... but I got stuck. There are only two sparkles left that I can get to right now. The piano, which there isn't a reason to play yet, and the chest with the combination. Lol... I think I'm going to take a break from it for now before trying again since I'm actually half-asleep at the moment

By the way... I usually always end up playing games while not fully awake... makes them more challenging for some odd reason... lol

Which of these games have visible monsters to fight? I hate random. Thank you for any reply I may get. I am looking for a good game to purchase but do not want random battles.

Aww! I was liking this game... I'm still at the beginning but stuck in that river... can't get past Azule Gorge without getting hit by the fish and jellyfish while trying and failing to avoid getting hit by the rocks that guy who stole the bunny keeps throwing at me I was wondering if anyone who still has this game can please help me get past that part if I send them my save file... send me a PM if anyone can help me!

@xanaphia: You can find the puzzle solutions for The Beyond in the game folder itself. Look for the text file 'readme'. I started playing this game a while ago but I'm yet to complete it... it almost gave me a heart attack

If you enjoy these kind of games though, I recommend trying some of the games in the Horror Games thread (which has been merged in the Gamers Club as well). I enjoyed most of them but some got way too creepy for me

Oh and, the same goes for A Home Far Away as well IIRC... there should be a walkthrough in the game directory giving hints on how to solve the quests. I'd love to help you out with the save but sadly can't as I uninstalled the game a while ago. Hopefully someone else can help but I doubt many will see this... it's becomming difficult to get help for many games that were shifted here from the Homemade Games section.

I already looked at the one for A Home Far Away. It was after I read what it said that I asked for help for this particular game.

OMG! OLD SCHOOL!!

(okay, it's not THAT old school compared to say GODS or The 7th guest [which I have played btw. 7th guest claims the spot of the most frustrating, headdesking, facepalming, puzzle game I have ever played. And its a DOS game. Hmmm...], but still.)

Ancient but awesome game. Puzzles were aggravating, fighting was frustrating, shooting involved many controller throwing moments, wait, where's the good points? Ah yes: storyline, body switching (see that hot/cool babe over there? oh yeah....), tons of stuff to make it realistic for the time (peep show, STRIPPERS, various illegal concerts provided by David Bowie, bathroom scenes {don't get excited. its only discrete urinating scenes}, cars, motorcycles, blowing. crap. up), and its just one of my fav if headache inducing games.

The awesome intro. (remember, it's a 1999 game so don't expect elder scroll oblivion graphics)

Hmm... I still would like help with A Home Far Away. I'm still stuck in the Azule Gorge since even with the walkthrough, I still keep getting killed. So far I've given up on the game until I can find help. And that is not like me at all... I usually never give up on games.

Back from beating up Omikron to the end. Found some awesome tweaking stuff (BODY SWITCHING FTW) so been messing with that as a stress reliever.

It's pretty wicked to switch your current-not-so-cool body into a kick ass one while keeping the same stats. ^_^ Now if only I can get a 30 ft high body to work the same as a 6 ft one <.< >.>

I'm a new forum member, I hope I posted at the right place.

Although I prefer traditional RPGs (my favourite ones are Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, Fallout and the Might and Magic series), playing Ahriman's Prophecy made me discover another genre of RPGs. I loved AP so much, that I decided to try other similar games. Right now I am playing Legacies of Dondoran and would need some help.

I almost completed the game: my characters are all at level 99, I have the 4 crystals and have updated the sword. My problem is that I don't know what to do with the crystals. I have read that you need to bring them to Evil Pants, but I have no idea where he is - never seen him. Can anyone tell me where he is?

I was planning to buy that game, but decided to play Legacies of Dondoran before. Legacies of Dondoran was pretty much a disappointment to me, so I am not sure anymore I want to buy Deadly Sin.

Can anyone who played the two games tell me if Deadly Sin is a huge improvement over Legacies of Dondoran or is it pretty much the same?

For example:

Are all the side quests gathered together at the end, right when you learn that every minute is "supposed" to count?

Does the main villain have a life of his/her own or is he/she entirely dependant on the heroes like Ishutal is? (What I mean is that at some point Ishutal simply stops to exist if the heroes ignore her. They can travel the world 2000 times if they wish, she won't hurt a soul while they do. She will do her evil deeds only when they look.)

For those who liked Dawn's Light (if you haven't tried it, it's well worth it), there's Dawn's Light: A Christmas Tale available now and it's free.

There's no fighting but it has lots of puzzles and the same humor as Dawn's Light. It's kept me entertained for a few hours.

From the things you mentioned,deadly sin is entirely different from Legacies of Dondoran.there are no sidequests here and you can't ignore the evils here.I would strongly recommend you to try the game as it contains two interesting puzzles and a good story.there is also a secret dungeon Hell.

this is not my game but it is a free RPGmaker game which is based on Lovecraft and gets all spooky and weird...

Has anyone figured out how to get to the set of chests on the left in the sewers that are flooded every few seconds? I can get thru on the right and make it to the next screen but it seems impossible to run from the 3rd pillar on the left to the next one which is so far ahead I still can't even see it whenb the water starts again.

I am having a love/hate affair with Legacies of Dondoran, there are some aspects I really like and some I really dislike. So if the bad aspects have been corrected in Deadly Sin, I will probably enjoy it.

That said, I would also welcome comments from other people who have played both games.
