When you give the candy to the witch, leave Witchwood then come back again. Halloween will be on and children will be running around everywhere. Look for a bucket of candy sitting next to a house (it's in front of the inn). You can take candy from that.

Note, you must do this before you get the key from Heptitus and leave Witchwood - after you get the key and leave, Halloween will be over and you won't be able to get the candy anymore.

I'm replaying gon and trying to get Edward to marry Mel. Mel currently has 6 points and I've done everything including not gave the flowers or sonnet to Mel in the Ork Kingdom, I gave those to Lydia. I just did the one in Naylith and for some reason she still only has 6. How is this possible? I know I've given all the right flowers and did the charms. I appear to be missing a point, but don't know which. I always talk to everybody in all the towns so I don't think I would have missed any of the flowers.

Did you give Mel the candy?

Did you update to Pemberly Keep? I had that same problem. You can't propose to anybody unless you update the apartment to Pemberly Keep.

Tasogare_Hana, the problem is Mel's short of one attraction point. Buying the mansion does not give her that.

I got to the end of the game finally (phew), then Edward marries an Orc (ugh!) Is it possible for him to marry Mel?

Yes, but u need to collect all the attraction points for her and buy Pemberley keep. Change to Edward and talk to her

How do I get attraction points? I always buy flowers for her when prompted. How do I buy Pemberly keep?

1. Gheledon - love sonnet (by junk shop) (Lyra)
Stormbend - flowers (by item shops)
Witchwood - candy from basket (must get before Halloween is over)
Tar Vedron - flowers (near entrance)
Venwood - flowers (by entrance)
Faiara - charm (one of the first houses)
Naylith - dedicate a star (Observatory)

2) You can buy it from Remraldt of Rental agency for 10000 gp.

Also, make sure to talk to Mel before you go to Ishtar Kingdom (is that right?) after Naylith. After she's kidnapped, well, you can't really propose to her. >.>

OoO but i think marry with Mel is not to usefull (except you want the third house in Thais castle) i ended marry with Stella to revive her thought (sorry)

well another reason i lazzy walked from MMO to Thais castle, even get winged shoes from Giant in Naylith. I have another save slot with Mel the bride so it doesn't matter if i want to marry Edward with another girl except Stella.If someone want to marry with Mel i hint to not miss some candy event(i forgot what it named) in Witchwood

Yes it means he can't, since the orc ones will actually decrease the attraction points.

To propose, buy Pemberly Keep in Thais, go inside and switch the leader to Edward, then speak to the girl he wishes to marry.

You can always propose to another girl this time around, and then play again to get all 7 points for Mel.
