How do I get the sleeping dust from squirrels or can I use the flute to put the ogre to sleep? Also, I seem to have missed the staff to put the different orbs on...Where is it?? Thanks to all for their help in this game.

1) You need to tell the maiden from Brumwich about the corn that the squirrels stole.
2) And no, you can use the flute only in battle. 3) The staff is in Veldarah.

You're great...Found it...I am just trying to tie up loose ends..Have gotten all these orbs but had no staff to put them on,HA!Now if I can only find these darn Glowberries for hector I will be in good shape... Thanks again...
