Bringing back another topic as well. I heard that Maren was the originator of this topic when I made it at the time and I hadn't realized that. She hasn't appeared for quite some time, though, so I think it's ok for me to bring it back.

So here's where we can talk about how we all came up with our user names. (And if any of us have changed ours, we can bring it up here as well.)

So as you all can see from my avvie and siggie set, it's phoenixgirl here. However, due to the character limit here at the moment, I had to shorten it to phoenix. (Easier rather than come up with a new user name. lol)

Anyway, I chose phoenix as my user name because I like the mythical creature phoenix. It's a beautiful firey bird that rises from the ashes. A new one can be reborn after the old one dies. A symbol of rebirth. Hopefully, I'm like that as well but we'll see how much time passes.

In the meantime, please feel free to post here and talk about how you all came up with your user names.

I definitely wasn't so creative. Have an account on Yahoo that I use strictly for these types of things. I used my first two initials, last name, and birthdate. Patricia Anne Pierce 7/2/57. Thought about changing it however, it's something I know and won't have to remember something new... simple... I really like simple these days.

Well I came up with my user name because my name starts with a t and when I was little my family called my tare-bear like the carebears and as I got older it was shortened to tbear or just bear. and so there is the story of how I came up with my username.

Cute story tbear. I like that you used your nickname as a child. Nice...

I like the Phoenix, "Phoenix". I use to live in Arizona... beautiful bird with a beautiful story. Love the rebirth of it.

I feel really lazy mine is the first half of my first name slapped together with my last name. I thought about changing it to Oracle. But I didn't want to confuse everybody. What do you think?

It's up to you either way. I like Oracle and I also like ally. You're the same person to me either way. ^^

It's like my friendship with Queen. She used to be QueenDido and then changed it to Dido. (She didn't like that I did all those bows to royalty. lol) But you know, she'll always be Queen to me.

Tadaa... I'm announcing my new username here. It's Mae, and it comes from my initials, plus I was called Mae by a boss I once had. I kinda like it. My siggy still says -mie-, but I'll change that when the inspiration for another siggy arrives.

As usual how unique my name is. It's from my last two names Kin and Sun. Now, say them both at a fast pace and you get the idea.
