BTW, does it have random encounters or visible monsters? I prefer the latter.

The game has random encounters (sorry!), except for Bosses, which are clearly visible

I will definitely use more visible monsters in episode 2

You may want to look at Eternal Eden for a great way to let the player know there are monsters on screen, while hiding their identity.

I can't get past "Goro"? Should Duncan be at a certain level?

Sorry, It's Arvale.

Goro is a bit strong, but he'll go down quickly at the right level.

Goro you can get by at about level 5 if I remember, so you may have to level up just a bit inside the Aqueducts. Be sure and pick up some potions and the best armor/weapons you can afford from the store in Nikal (there is also a chest with a pretty strong weapon within the Aqueducts too).

hey i'm playing arvale treasure of memories but i'm stuck finding a mage after i bought the dynawand!!! help would be nice

Someone in Dhierce mentions seeing a mage in the ruins of Thimpote

The mage is in the ruined town of Thimpote, on the West side of the continent (just head west from Arhaeldem). You'll have to catch her a few times (just keep following her) while working your way through the ruins until she eventually runs into the Pub. Follow her into there too


@Rox1001 Congrats! Now that you've beat Goro, you can upgrade your armor and weapons to some stronger stuff (and be sure to equip them from the menu ) inside of Arhaeldem, which should help you with the tougher enemies

I played for a little while, so far so good. I like the humour of this game Only thing that annoys me is the walk speed. Can you do something about that? I tried holding shift key to dash but seems like you disabled it

The walkspeed was set to one speed to keep a nice balance on overworld and dungeon screens for the random monsters (and also to be a bit consistent with the earlier Arvale games).

But you're right, he does seem to drag his feet a little... I'll see if I can add a little pep to Duncan's steps for the next game

Are there other ways to collect gold besides chests and defeating monsters? I bought so many "Weak Potions" to help beat Goro that I don't have enough money to upgrade my equipment.
