mustangsally: Ah, the game is driven by using arrow keys and the enter key (or space bar), so you have to press the enter/space key when making a selection instead of clicking on it
Sorry about that ![]()

Will definitely check out the first two games you posted Jaybot. Haven't beat ToM yet but I'm absolutely loving it so far. The dialog between Duncan and the narrator is hilarious, as well as Duncan discussing things with wheelbarrows. It reminds me a lot of the militant squirrels in Aveyond. Great game so far.
Btw, is an autosave feature too complex of a thing to add? I'm a bit of an impatient gamer and saving is not one of my virtues when I'm buzzing through the game to finish the story ![]()

Key to enter the pub, right? You have to follow the girl dressed in the bunny suit until the pub and speak to her

![]() crcdcc: Glad you're enjoying it! The game originally had an autosave but I had to take it out at the last minute when updating the save game structure to be more compatbile on Windows Vista/7. I'll try to put it back in for Episode II ![]()

@Jaybot
*bows to you* Thank you, I don't know how many times I had to start back from beating Goro.....and I was already chasing miss bunny through Thimpote. But that is why I hate Vista, it's not compatible with anything. Btw, I read my first response, it kinda sounded derrogatory like I was insulting your intelligence by it being too complex to put auto save in. I do apologize if it was taken that way, I was basically saying if it wasn't too much of a hassle to add it, I would love you forever lol. *edit* I asked about screensize for Arvale 1.....found where it says to make the screen bigger....duh. ![]() One more thing...........I started up Arvale 1 and it didn't keep my saved file. I don't mind going back cause I wasn't that far along, but what's up with that? Will it do this everytime I close out the game?

@marta_martins she's a slippery one, glad you caught up to her
![]() @crcdcc no worries, if I can figure it out without breaking everything, I'll try to implement the auto-save again. Arvale: JOI save file? Yeah, there's a funky thing with the PC version where you have to *manually* save your game in the menu at least once before the autosave and other saves start working correctly and the continue menu opens up. All you have to do is save your game once and it should start working correctly. Let me know if it doesn't .

I manually saved it, more than once actually cause of my mishap with starting over from Goro in ToM for the bazillionth time lol. I think it's just something with my computer, cause I started over and resaved again and now it's fine. I think it's just my computer having a midlife crisis. ![]() I did what you suggested to make the screen bigger as well. It slowed the game down and I had to restart it and reset the properties to get it back to normal. Any idea why? I can still see it ok just wondering if there's any way to bypass the lag.

crcdcc: Okay, glad to see it's saving now
As for making the screen bigger in Arvale: Journey of Illusion, it's usually because many graphics cards have a tough time scaling down to 640x480 resolution. Since I don't have any of the original code for that game, the only other way to make the game bigger is by setting it back to using normal resolution and using a screen magnifying program. The best one I found was: http://downloads.imgpresents.com/magnify/mag150_smartinstaller.exe Free to use for 30 days, so you just have to make sure you finish Arvale before that ![]()

30 days? Ha! Not likely..... right now I've been grinding for 2 days trying to get my stats up. Tired of running out of weapons and armor and getting my arse kicked.

Arvale: JOI is roughly 20 hours and shouldn't require too much grinding. In fact, the Sorcynth points before every boss allow you to buff up all your stats for money temporarily (save your game first) just in case you tend to avoid monsters a lot (like me)
