Aeternus, if you helped Damodar and Madhuri in Shoal Leiu, that would have also led to you helping Gretchen in Witchwood.

If you did that, then explored Underfall thoroughly, you would have had an opportunity to help Gretchen even further. If you went back to that house later, you would have been invited to a costume party.

This could well be the source of some of your sorely-needed party interaction

Ahh, now I remember. I didn't go back to Witchwood to see how it went with Gretchen and Marcello (my thoughts were probably along the lines of, "More walking/paying for the MME?! I can do without." )

We specifically added the Reaper Express to Underfall to make this trip much quicker for you - it costs quite a bit, but it's almost instantaneous

Maybe nox is an evil ancesstor of mel.descendants sometimes look like their ancesstors.

@pink: have the scholar of the party speak to Nox and maybe you'll get a hint (or at least a deduction from our very smart Ulf) of who Nox might be.

Yeah, the Nox/Mel identity. That's why I wish there was a /little/ more in terms of the story. I thought it was a little too cliffhangery. There was a darkling that says Mel looks familiar. I figure it's because 1) Mel's a Darkthrop, Darkthrops look similar, and the Darklings can recognize a Darkthrop, or 2) Mel looks like Nox and Nox frequents the Underfall, identitiy confusion.
Therefore: Nox is related to Mel, Nox is Mel, or Nox just for some inexplicable reason resembles Mel.

And no, you don't *have* to buy AM's version. BFG will take our update soon (I hope), but it's probably going to be some time (I think). understand that while we can offer updates to the portals, we cannot force them to take it. the most updated version of the game will still always be amaranthia's, no matter how "unfair" you feel it to be.

well, i can't complain about that. the only reason i buy BFG games instead of AM is that the cost less.

But yeah, I do think that Nox is some kind of version of Mel, or something along the lines of that. The resemblance is too uncanny. And Nox as Mel from an alternate reality seems possible since Nox hints in knowing about the "beginning of the end".

Argh. It's just been a few days since TLO and I want the next one to come out already!! 0.o The suspense is killing me.
