Ive played all the games but I find the world map very confusing because I have noticed that Thais wasnt part of the mainland until Aveyond 2. And awnyways what happend to Dreamworld?

Had a thought this morning. There are only so many orbs out there. When we get closer to the maps of Aveyond One, we're getting closer to the hiding place fo the Sword of Shadows. Gyndell makes a deal with a demon, gets a big power boost to keep him a relevant bad guy, we get some new demons to fight and with Mel as a Sword Singer she needs to race to get the Sword of Shadows before Gyndell breaks it to release the demons into the world.

I just liked the idea and I wanted to post it somewhere. Not sure if this is the right forum for it.

Maybe it will be released on "-ber" months e.g. december or later

Nope... and all I can tell you is that it's going to be a while... perhaps December... a Christmas gift from Amanda?

since development hasn't even started yet, we won't know who's in it besides mel and edward.

who knows if even edward will be in? he might be too busy to accompany mel at shadwood, since he has this other thing to do unless mel, like the typical rpg hero that she is, gets sent on ANOTHER quest XD maybe shadwood has developed a distant learning course XD

@aisling: though they are both going to the isles in the next game. So eddy will definitely be in it, granted possibly a small scene, but still in it

And if mel/eddy is the endgame pairing of AV3 [which seems extremely likely as there's no rival for mel's affections. If mel doesn't get with anyone at the end of AV3, that will be a first for the AV series] eddy will still be somehow wooing mel in the next game.

(I really, really, really want to see Edward having to go to some political event and dragging Mel along with him for some extremely uncomfortable small talk. And if it doesn't happen in-game, at least enough leeway story-wise to allow me to squish it into the storyline in a fanfic.)

Probably, 'cause there is a small bond thats already tied them together, even thats really a small one, thats what i got when i played.

@yoyo/shadowshed: on the contrary,'all the games combined into one' is mostly likely NOT going to happen.

Each game is modified so that the previous game's triggers are erased completely. basically, its using the same resources (maps, charasets,etc.) BUT replacing all switches and triggers.

If amanda was to combine all the games, she would need to make the game quite literally from scratch as many of the triggers were replaced with different triggers as the games' progressed.
