Finally completed the game and it was fabulous to say the least and lots of fun to play!
My result --Exam Score = 20 Quest Points = 300 Sky Orbs = 44 Final Rating = 49 ![]() Something I noticed was that certain party members trigger some quests, so make sure to switch your party around in the later parts of the game and talk to everyone again if you want the perfect score. Can't wait for the sequel or prequel (whichever you plan on doing first), I don't mind any as long as I get to know more about the story and characters (not to mention tons of quests!). There were some minor typos and grammatical mistakes but that's fine as the other aspects of the game are nicely done. But since it's a commercial game, I think you should correct them in the next version. All in all, a very enjoyable game and highly recommended. Hope this turns out to be a great and long series like Aveyond. Good luck! ![]()

Quote:
1. Ella is very beautiful in the title screen. Seriously? Ok. Answer: Yes, the title screen attracted me to play the game. I became interested what will be the future of the maid named Ella 3. It is RPG (I love RPG) and it is good that only few monsters came back to their spot after defeating them. Ok so you don't like COMBAT, right? Less combat, the better? Answer: I love combat. My point is after defeating all the monsters in the map, you already have an option whether to fight some monsters again or proceed searching some side quests and items. I am not bothered that every three to ten steps, there will be monsters to fight again like in final fantasy. 5. There is a moral lesson (one of the important thing) Interesting. MORALS. So if a main character is BAD or DARK, not good? Answer: Moral, while playing the game, it reminds us good deeds like helping others in the way you can and without asking anything in return. Some RPGs have main characters that are bad or dark but as their story unfolds, you can see that they are really good or they have a good side ![]() Yes, I don't like characters that are absolutely bad like in grand theft and a Japanese game (I forgot the title) that all you have to do is to rape to earn points. Very disgusting. 8. And MOST importantly, the game gives you more happiness than distress. I think this is an ideal game than other games that makes you frustrated because of the frequent game over. Ok...the game gives you HAPPINESS. Is it because the game is EASY? you don't like to die in a game? Too challenging? Or is your happiness derived from the WORLD that the "Ella's Hope" provides and you like this fantasy world? Explain how this game makes you happier. Answer: We play games to make us relax or to entertain us, when we are stressed out. So in choosing a game, why will I choose a game that will give me additional stress in life? I better not play the game because it will not help me. When we accomplished something, it makes us happy right? It is the same feeling I felt every time I completed a quest. The quests are challenging but tolerable. ![]()

Levian, I think it doesnt really matter Ella's level- in the final fights you'll need skills more than the strength.
Affectemo wrote exactly my opinion about the game. My first and for all time favorite game is Zelda- A link to the past and Minish Cap, I played on SNES. Since then I'm looking for similar games and Ella's hope is definitely worth to add in the collection. I do hope that Eridani will give us more- hardly believe that Ella's his first game and already that good. ![]()

There were some minor typos and grammatical mistakes
Hi - if anyoine notices something specific please feel free to pm me and it shall be corrected in the next version - so far at Aldorlea nobody has mentioned any. Spelling is UK English and the characters certainly aren't always grammatically correct (meant to make them more real) but if something specific that bugs you I shall certainly look into changing it and sorry for any errors that crept in! The game was checked and beta-tested but it is always hard to catch 100%. Thanks! And thanks very much for the rest of the comments. I'm a she btw and lucky to have been able to release my first game with a very experienced company and support ![]()

Well for starters, here are a couple of them --
A Guardian will great you there and remind you of what you need... - greet Luckily only those who have been in the clouds can see them as if enough are collected they have an effect on the carrier - shouldn't it be and instead? Just replayed the beginning to find these... there are quite a few more but I don't have the time to replay the whole game. But as I said before it doesn't matter much as the game is overall quite polished and well put together. I think the beta testers got too immersed in the game and overlooked them. XD Great game though, love it! Just want it to be perfect ^_^

"Great" will certainly be changed - thanks! I do mean "as" rather than "and" as it is saying that is is lucky that people can't see them as if they could they could end up picking up the magical power. I shall look to making it clearer though.
I'm upping the number of beta testers on the next release anyway so hopefully this should again improve quality - it's been a steep learning curve to get the first one out ![]()

Where is the house with the basement in which I should find the spellbook? The only one I can find is the witches and that isn't it.

It's in Fran's house (north east part of the town). Check the drawers.
And please post in the appropriate game thread henceforth. @mods: It's Ella's Hope.

hi! me again!
im in Tattusan woods. i've pretty much finished it, so im not totally stuck, but im trying to help the guy that lost his clothes. so far i found two shirts and two pairs of pants, and there's is a weird pig and his wife that appear, but they dont seem to need anything. i tried to bring the clothes back to their owner, but Cal won't let us go back there. another thing: i have mushrooms and fairy thread, but i dont see how to use them... so anhyway: not a big deal, but i'd like to finish as many side quests as i can so...

Mushrooms and fairy thread you don't need just yet. If you talk to the Guardian at the start of the woods and then choose not to return to the clouds just yet then you should be able to go the way you want to about the clothes
![]() For the Fire Sprites Sakari can be useful but if you need to level up first then there are a group of monsters just outside of the dragons quest that are helpful both for experience and gold. Hope that helps!

@eridane, another is in the first statement of Sakari when they arrived in the Tatusan wood. Tress - trees
and like I mentioned earlier, in the whole story, the word realise was used instead of realize. I agree at Untoldreveries that maybe the beta testers focused on the gameplay.. finding bugs @dark adventurer, thank you. I already proofread my post and corrected some errors. ![]() @meetkaur, I used the following characters: Ella - with inferno bracelet (fire resistant) Leah - with petal necklace (fire resistant)and I used her dark attack that can silent the enemies. Dayna - I used her guardian protect to increase the defense of the party Sakari - I used her river rush (a water attack) Strategy. Ella - melee rush(you can get it on one of the armored guys in plamen), bold (if you chose the earth element on your first quest/received forest bow and earth pendant), then attack Dayna - guardian protect, guardian power up, attack Leah - dark attack that can silent the enemy, then if all are already silent, used the dark disguise attack Sakari -river rush/ frozen peril and the other ice attack. also buy a lot of veggies which restores 200hp and boost the character. It is available in Plamen. If you are running out of gold, just kill the dwarf that spawns near the dragon city/town. He is the first dwarf that you will encounter when you're from the dragon city/town. He gives you an awesome 225 gold for each fight (5 fights = 1125 gold) and can give you up to two nut tonics for FREE on each fight by chances. The drop rate is high ![]() I used this technique to buy all the fire armors, weapons and fills in the Plamen and to get FREE NUT TONICS :3. I hope it will help you.

Hi - as mentioned above realise is the correct UK english spelling - realize is the US spelling
![]() Common differences between US and UK spellings are: "s" instead of "z" in words like realise, "ou" instead of "o" for words like colour, "re" and "er" for words like centre using different structures of "ll" and "l" for example skilful. Oh there are many more lol, -yze and -yse, -se and -ce, -logue and -log. In these sorts of cases they aren't mistakes they are just my own UK English native language - there will be many, many instances of these but they aren't errors. ![]() I shall ensure the typo is fixed for trees, thanks for pointing it out.
