I have a few questions but the biggest one is this: If there are the Arishta Isles AND the mainland than does that mean that there are two Thaises???

@coraline: there's only 1 thais. Thais is a city. The arishta isles aren't part of the mainland.

@shadow: no idea what your talking about. All of the chapters of AV3 are linked in that they are Mel's Story. The AV series are linked in that they are in Aveyond and tell different stories of the place at different time periods.

The Arishta Isles ARE the world of AV1. But that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll be hearing about Rhen--she hasn't come up again since AV1, has she? And you'd think that Edward's parents would have family history books or something. (In that it's rather more likely that they would have them than anyone else, since Rhen is one of their ancestors.)

Although, if Lars went back to Shadwood, he might be mentioned there. He would've had to have done something big, though.

I even barely know how long from rhen finished her quest until we discover mel's issue. And i think it's long enough and probably lars has gone,.. (how thais has grown to be this big, must be a long time)

@shadowshed: timeline is a reaaaaaaally funky issue in the AV games.

For example, in Mel's quest, I can travel from the vampire town to acropolis and back as many times as I want and it'll still be only 1 day.

What we do know though, is that Rhen/Lars/everyone other than Teijal/Galahad in AV1 are long dead before AV2 and AV3. Don't remember the time though I think Teijal's profile mentioned this somewhere.

Wow- this is so annoying. I finnished the Lost Orb months ago and the next chapter still is not ready. I really think it was a very poor choice to release a game peice-mail like this. Please don't do this to us again Amanda. I don't know if I can continue to patronize your business if this continues as I believe you need to be more in tune with what your customers want. An ENTIRE game released within a few weeks of each other at least. I realize it takes time to develop games, but you certainly seem to be busy putting other games out there, when you should be releasing the Darktrop Prophesy!

Ooh I have another important question, does Mel turn into nox? I have noticed that they almost look alike, eg. skin tone, hair style and colour. Their only differences are their clothes, and Nox's glowing eyes, so maybe Mel has a choice to turn evil like Rhen in AV1?

@Avryl: Well, firstly, I would like to point out that it's not just one huge game being released bit by bit--it's a series. And I must question your definition of the word "few" here, because the word to me reads as four or five, and that is definitely not enough time to develop a game. Or at least, one that's not terrible.
There are also people out there who are excited for Gypsy's Tale, you know. Myself included. The game looks beautiful from what's been released.

@Coraline: Well, no one knows for sure what's going to happen. But Mel and Nox certainly do look similar.

Well, even i think they're one! I think maybe this nox is a half of mel, who has the magical power, and mel the other half that not contains any magical power, and so the skill, wish, etc. all of them oppositing.(mel wants to destroy orbs, nox wants to use them)

I didn't know where to put this, so I hope this is the right place. Well, I would just like to say that I have been a long time fan of sprite rpgs. Having my roots all the way in the NES/SNES ones. I would just like to say that to say that your games bring back that freshness (even if their old school) to me. I have been mulling this over in my head and I didn't see a suggestion topic/forum and seeing as you had an 'Attraction' stat in Aveyond 3 I was wondering if you will be adding more possible romances? What comes to mind when I say that is for instance the Harvest Moon series or Bioware games. Also maybe more to do with pets? For instance they could help you in battle or just give boosts, ala Legend of Mana (Playstation 1), Legend of Heroes (Playstation Portable). Rune Factory (Nintendo DS) is a prime example of a blend of all of those.
I had more to say but I think my bravery is wearing down. ._.

When DP comes out will we get a more powerful magic user?

Lydia was okay and the other girl is Meh.
So I'm wondering if we will get a more powerful Mage ala Lars or Gavin or Even Iya/

@ Justinldew I don't know the answer to your question but I think we will. There were a few hints that suggested it was a good possibility for this one. And I agree, the magic people are always my favorite

@justin: lars is long dead. iya's in elf world so probably not. Gavin = possibly, though since there's no witches going gaga over there's a strong possibility he's dead also.

we're most likely going to get a mage because every other AV game had a mage somewhere. Whether that mage is powerful no one will know until the game comes out.

ahem. if you finished TLO, saw the dialouge before the final FINAL battle, and saw where a certain character ended up, i think you will know the answer to that question. either Yvette (though she went back to harakuna and didn't really have that strong powers), June, now that she is a certified magician (though her spells really sucked, I just used her attack power), or you-know-who, once she gets trained of course. Anyone powerful enough to break Gyendal's shield has awesome power indeed.

@pink: yes, but said character is also strongly against magic so said character might not train it in TLO. It's like having a talent for something but deciding not to develop it, and no matter how talented you are you're not going to be good if you don't practice.
