Well, yes. Aries and scorpio seems to be the two signs that has a bad reputation.

If talking about reputation of Aries and Scorpios, they say that Aries is easily made mad and scorpios are very mean in their nature, if I'm not mistaken.
I am an Aquarius. And the personality that Aquarius is claimed to have doesn't match me at all. My sis, who likes this very much, says that it's because of the other planets' influence.

It's not fun if whatever our personality affected by those zodiacs.

That's pretty cool. I am more of a cancer personality than leo, so in this new type where I'd be cancer it would mean that I'd finally have a sign that fits me. XD

Well, I DO think our lives are affected by the planets and stars. (if the moon influences the water level in oceans, what about us?). But there are more constellations in the sky than 12 zodiacs.

I don't think zodiacs has any impact to a person's personality and/or life. After all, there are millions/billions of people representing each zodiac, and they'd all have different personalities and characters. The accuracy of whatever is written about the zodiac signs depends on the person reading in. So basically, it doesn't matter whether you're Cancer or Virgo or whatever

But anyway, based on the site given in the first post, even with the new zodiac sign, mine is still a Leo, so I have less problems with it than some of you here

Actually, this isn't a new development. In the past, astrologers divided the sky into 12 equal segments of 30 degrees each (totaling 360 degrees). Then they just chose the constellations that most fit into those segments. This is the Tropical Zodiac.

If you go by the actual path of the sun and the constellations it passes through, you get the Sidereal Zodiac, which has 13 constellations.

the zodiac is just an arbitrary set of classifications though. "Accuracy" doesn't really play into it esp if the sun passes through it, you can't see the thing when you're born anyway... since it's night time and all. (or the sun is in the way)

also, don't some of those constellations overlap/have huge gaps in between anyway?
