He's in the church at Trade Town. Talk to him and then take the holy water from the table.

I believe at the time the quest that involves the holy water becomes available, the priest is no longer in the church (having been evacuated with the rest of the church members). So, if you don't see him in the area shown in the screen shot that UntoldReveries posted, then you'll have to wait until you complete the Twin Towers dungeon. Afterward, the priest and all the members should return.

Is there any way to make more money or level up after completing each dungeon? When I go back to the places visited before, there are no more monsters. I am running out of money to buy potions and stuff.

Doing sidequests will help you in both respects, gaining levels and cash...there are plenty of quests that will reward you quite handsomely. You can also sell off unwanted items in your inventory. Also, don't forget to check barrels and stuff

Thanks, UntoldReveries.
![]() I will keep trying. By the way, do you recommend playing those mini-games (eg. treasure hunt in Twilight Village) that cost money? I would like to later when I gain more gold coins because I am curious about what the prizes are.

You're welcome
I suggest doing those later on as the prizes are not really important... they are mostly *highlight* outfits for the party members.*

Hello,
I have just played the demo of Dawn's Light (and this is my first post at Amaranthia). I found it very well done in many ways. I love the journal, I like the battle style, I like the graphics and the details. The dialogue is fun. ![]() The reason I have not bought it yet is the one thing I don't like, and that's what I want to ask about. It's the quests. So far, they're really boring. (I don't mean to upset anyone who loves what I don't like, I'm just looking for some information.) It's almost like I'm playing a walkthrough, if you can understand what I mean. They're so *straightforward*. It's like I can't make a mistake and can't make my own decisions about what to do next in the story, even slightly. I did the frog quest, and then someone yells, and I know that my next quest is the sheep quest...I didn't have to look for it or anything. Then the village is toast, and I'm told exactly what to do next and the small obstacle set up for the quest is so easy to overcome that all I did was talk to one character and I had my answer. They're all *lined up*. I haven't had to THINK even once about what to do, I feel like I'm just here to press buttons so the game can play itself. Does this change as the game goes on, or is this very straight-forward nature just the style of the game? I don't think I want to buy it if it continues on exactly as it did in the hour I played, I was too bored. (Even though I did laugh out loud at one point at some of the dialogue...I definitely think it's very well done in most ways.) If you read all that, thanks for your time. ![]()

Oh yes, the quests definitely get harder and more interesting as the game goes on. Not to mention the puzzles really spice things up
I guess the idea was to ease the players into the game. All JW games start easy and get more and more challenging as the game progresses. Also, there are plenty of fun sidequests if you want to take a break from the main quest. Well, I hope that helps ![]()

Yes, thank you
I just wanted to make sure that the game wasn't going to continue to be spoonfed to me, my every step guided by someone shouting that they need help or something equally obvious. I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer and do get frustrated with excessively difficult and easy-to-irreparably-screw-up games that you have to constantly restart at a save-point hours in the past, but while playing the demo of this one, I realized that I don't like it to be brainlessly easy, either. I guess I like to be able to explore a bit without being guided from point to point. (It's news to me!) Good to know that that's mostly just at the start, since it does seem like a really good game in every other way and the dialogue is fairly unique and I'd like to see more of it. Thanks again. ![]()

So, I bought it. If the demo had been 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes, I wouldn't have even had to ask my question. As soon as I activated my purchase, I was on a quest that, after ten minutes or so, I realized I wasn't sure how to complete it. I was wandering all over, trying to figure out where keys could be and so on.
... Yay! I'm glad, since it really is an exceptionally well-organized and unique game. I love the items panel, all sectioned so that you don't have to sort through EVERY item each time, and I like the way you can see the players and the monsters moving on the screen during battle. Even though they're not really animated, it seems more interactive. I'm not very far in but as far as I am, I like it. (And I'm off to play a bit more, now.)

Glad to know you're enjoying the game. It will only get better from where you are now. Happy gaming!

Does this game stop at level 50? For a short while I had two characters above level 50 (51 or 52) but now that I'm at Mordecai's castle or whatever it's called, they have ALL reset to Level 50 and each battle shows the EXP bar...and then resets it to the start. So it just doesn't go past level 50? It doesn't matter since I'm doing fine like this, all the bad guys are dying (and I'm not) but if it's a glitch I'd want to be able to fix it...

Yes, you can only reach level 50 maximum. It's not a bug
