I haven't played the older games in the Forgotten Realms series, but I really like Neverwinter Nights.

I would probably enjoy Baldur's Gate 2 somewhat, but those old-style battles just irritate me now. :/

Minsc and Boo are very popular characters. (Who doesn't love a miniature giant space hamster?)

I'm suddenly hearing Minsc say, "Minsc and Boo stand together." It's a shame you can't pout potions in that slot, though...

Party gathering bugged me too. I just stick everyone by the door and hope they register fast enough to get through without it talking to me--usually works...

I created as many Boots of Haste using debug mode and put them on the parties. They have been walking like Flash since the early of the game

I once stubbornly decided to play through the game ALONE, using only the main character. It was Sargev, my evil persona, a powerful fighter specializing in 2H weapons. He got so buff from taking on everything by himself that he eventually even slew the Shadow Dragon all on his lonesome! It was a real hassle losing instantly whenever he got dominated by vampires, though, so I never completed the game with him alone.

There are actually tons of forum people trying solo games... I'm still trying to figure out how the heck to beat up the beholders. XD

I don't have the map up in front of me, but basically, I remember staying towards the top of the screen at first. There's a bit where the road does a short loop to the north, and you want to take that. Also, you can drive across the grass in some places. I think I ended up driving across the grass twice to get on to different streets.

Well, it depends on your point of view, I suppose. I went the Jeremy route when I first played, and Randy is pretty scary. But, once you get to know him...

Anyhow, as for the car chase, it's really hard. If you bump into things, Randy will catch up pretty quickly. There are a couple of places where the grassy spots are narrow that you can cross. So my basic approach was across the top then down, crossing the grass twice. I think you can only cross the grass in places where it doesn't change color, if that makes any sense.

If you want to try for a Randy ending, run away from Jeremy when he shows up in the park right after you find the dead body.

This game is incredible.
I had a lot of fun playing it.
Basically there are several "stories" (you need an additional download to get them all) in this game.
Each one is on its own, but they all have the same main character, juni.
I can't even describe how good this game is.
You just have to try it.
Its free, so there is no question of affording it or not.
You might also want to play knytt before knytt stories, although the stories are not directly linked.

I remember that I tried this game several months ago but eventually I got rather bored as there wasn't anything more than all the running and climbing. And I don't have patience for games where you need good coordination and reflexes to jump and move exactly the right way so that you don't fall into an abyss XD But it is a very cute game. Maybe sometimes later I may get to it again and have fun again for a while before I get bored again. I also have to say that the music and general atmosphere are nice and pleasant.
