If the guard is in the way, then you haven't completed the Princess Katie quest. If you haven't completed that quest yet, then you can still get the chest key the original way.

Actually, if she's installed the patch, she won't be able to get the key the original way. It's now in a chest in the treasury, not given by Katie anymore.

But she can only get it when the Katie quest has been completed, or when Mel comes back to Underfall.

help please! im stuck in valderma looking for blue chest key,i have spoken to everyone, went back got the arrow etc,but still cannot find blue chest key. i am a aveyond seasoned player but this is bugging me no end.

The original key never opened red chests. You need a magical treasure key to open red chests.

You get the magical treasure key in Dreamland.

I'm finding tons of blue chests, but I can't access them yet and I was wondering if I missed a lockpick or something (I've gotten the quest for Mystery Far, but havent gone yet)

The treasure key is back in Veldarah. If you're playing build A and Mel has returned to Underfall, you can't get it - you need to download build B.

If you're playing build B, go to the Veldarah palace and look through the treasury.

i been to valdrh to meet the king who rescued there daughter and went to veldarah castle and back to sedona but didnt get key to open the blue chest did i do something wrong?

You don't get the key in Sedona. You get it in Veldarah. Go back and talk to Katie.

If you're playing build B, when you go back to Veldarah and see everyone in the palace, you'll have access to the palace treasury. Go in there and look for a brown chest. It will contain the treasure key.

If you're playing build A, as Mopiece said, you need to go and talk to Katie at the Veldarah palace, and she'll give it to you. Make sure, after you give the medallion to the king in Sedona, that you go back to the house where Katie is, and you will see the king and queen there first, and THEN go to Veldarah palace to look for them.

I haven't fount a picklock yet and i am wondering where is it.Can you help me?And also if i find it are the items worth that are in the chests?

For the blue chests, you can get the treasure key from Katie in Veldarah before Mel returns from the demon realm. If she has already returned, then download and install Build B. It's crucial to get this key cause the key for the red chests is in a blue chest and the best weapons and armor are in red chests.

Αs far as i see guys,the ones that didn't find the key for the blue chests before Mel moves the royals to Underfall,won't find it in these saves...but unfortunately I am one of these guys...

Uh...I'm pretty sure if you install Build B, you'll be able to get the key. Just head to Veldarah palace and look for a brown chest in the treasury, it contains the key.

I now know how to get it but the point is that i haven't completed the game yet,and i am bored for doing all over the start just for a key
