I mean Edward did mistake Lydia for Mel. And Mel must have figured if he couldn't really tell that wasn't the real her, then he must not truly love her.

I still think Mel and Edward belong together. I guess its not my choice on who the main pairing are. I am glad that Edwardand Lydia are not a canon pairing or whatever its called.

alright, so many people have already finished the game. my old thread about "Fast Game" is locked, so I started this one. Does the game really go by that fast? or are the people who are done just hard core players who didn't close the game since they bought it? someone please clarify. I want this game to be fun, and NOT to end abruptly. I am at the start of the battle with the demon with Mel, Nox, Uma, and Yemite in the demon caves. i got two of the three wyvern flames. is that all this game is? just this fight, a few side quests with Edward and party, and that's it? please, someone tell me that this game doesn't go THAT fast!

You still have things to do after Mel returns from the Demon Realm. So stop worrying about if the game is going to end soon and just enjoy it.

I finished it yesterday, but I'm a hardcore player. There's quite a bit of the game left after the demon realm.

I too am a hardcore player, and I was surprised at how long the game is. In fact thats one of the reasons why I think TDP is so fun, but counting sidequests and leveling up, there is still quite a bit of stuff to do after getting the flames.

Isn't it nice that we can play our games and have them end the way we want.

How can you be at the battle with the demon if you only have 2 flames? Sure you didn't pick up the third one somewhere?

Yes. I love Edward and Mel to be together. I am glad that we get have the ending as we choose like what barnybyrd said.

@Kirroha: Truth be told, not really. She never specified which one was canon, Ed/Stella or Ed/Belf. Said those two couples are looking good *shrug* Then I brought up my Gyendal/Mel, which made her tell me about the old idea of Gyendal in the party. We both sort of started spouting nonsense after the whole Lars VIII/Mel thing was confirmed...

[spoiler]I still think Gy/M makes sense too in the case of Uma and Nox's parentage... I mean, Nox may have gotten her evilness from daddy Plus, if there was once a thought of him going heel-face-turn, even though canceled, means that he's still redeemable, not outright evil (I wonder HOW that happens though). And I guess Uma and Nox Ravenfoot sounds better than "Tenobor"

I finally learned how to pronounce Te'ijal and Gyendal's name properly.

Te'ijal: Tey-szholl, with the -oll sounding like "all" in "wall"
Gyendal: Guy-yen-dal (and here I was pronouncing it Gyen-dal all the time).

Heh, I loved TDP. It lived up to its hype. Sort of. There were one or two WTH moments that sprung up, but I liked it.

My only complaint about this is how Gyendal really flops as a villain, but hey. You could only fight him for so many times before it becomes redundant

I liked how Gyendal's story ended. Te'ijal's football.
