The best thing about TDP:

Really? AV3 was supposed to have 6 games in it. WOuldn't that mean that the TDP plot should have spanned longer or something?

TDP was, well, rather cramped. I think I've said that a lot, but whatever. I say that while the direction it was going is good, there's too much tell and not enough show. Too many infodumps. It should've been expanded a bit more and broken into two games at the very least. I mean, us fans wouldn't have minded waiting a little bit more. Why the rush to finish?

There isn't going to be an AV3-5. AV3-4 is the last of the series.

The entire Southern Isle seems to have disappeared.

And lovely ones, too.

Not disappeared, but blocked off by the rocks. It's there, we just can't access it. Just like we can't go to Thais in TDP because the rocks are in the way.

You know, I'm wondering.... We marry off Mel and Lars VIII, we get Uma and Nox. We marry Mel off with Ed, we still get Uma and Nox. DOES IT MATTER WHO THE DAD IS???

The best thing about TDP is that it TOTALLY CATERS TO MY CRACK NEEDS I don't know how to describe it, but it's just ripe field for my crack business and I'm loving it! Yessssss...

Well, I highly doubt Amanda actually put the Southern Isle in. We can just assume and pretend the Southern Isle is beyond those rocks. XD

Also, is this topic ever going to be moved into the TDP forum? All of the other games had discussion threads in their specified forums (that actually counted for gold XD), and now that talk here has actually come to TDP as the game is, it doesn't really belong in Spam Haven. *shrug*

So, at the end, I got Edward to marry Mel. I was disappointed when Nox and Uma did not show up at Mel's wedding. In the end diary sequence, Mel says she never saw Uma or Nox again and wonders who they are.

So that got me wondering. Are they from previous games? Is the fact they both resemble Mel coincidental? What are your opinions?

Try watching all the way through the credits.

I guess Nox and Uma were meant to be born, and so it really didn't matter who the dad was because they're so cool like that. You can't really think too hard about it. XD

You know how, when you go to watch a movie, those people who hang around long enough to see through the credits get spoiled with some footage that didn't make it into the movie? TDP is like that

Hehehe. The epilogue is priceless.

No matter what, Uma and Nox look EXACTLY like their mother. I don't see any resemblance to their 'father', whoever he may be... Unless the father has white hair and light blue eyes or something. And we already know that Lars VIII has green hair.

Earlier today I was thinking that there might have been some scandalous happenings that would make it so the girls looked so different from each other (and the same whether Mel married Lars or Edward) despite *supposedly* having the same father, but then I remembered that they're twins, so Mel having an affair with Ed (or Lars, conversely) to explain the way the twins are the same no matter who she marries wouldn't work. I was very put out for about an hour. >.>

Maybe the body is simple a container and their souls are already fully formed, so the father doesn't matter. I dunno.

The third game in the series was mildly disapointing, but DP more than made up for it. The characters were more interesting, for one thing. I LOVE Nox, Uma, and Yemite. I wish we got to see more of them. (Although, June didn't even show up for the wedding, did she? Bad former party member!)

This game was full of ton of awesome moments though, especially with Tei'jal getting revamped, Stella growing new wings, and Hercules getting outed. Mel is a very scary magic user. My complaints are that there was enough of Mel, for being the center focus of the first three games it felt like she had very little focus in this one. (And I dislike her new dress >_> (And I missed her being a thief/spy.) My second complaint is that I wanted more Nox, Uma, and Yemite! I seriously wouldn't mind another Aveyond where Nox and Uma came back, with Yemite serving the "Princesses".

(Also I thought it would have been cool if Lydia played a more important role. Whether she sent assassins after Edward to make sure he didn't take his throne back, or if she joined up with him to prevent Mel from stealing her throne and taking away her kingdom...)

Oh yeah, the city design was much better in this game, especially when compared to Eldrion.

Anyway. Looking forward to the "mystery game" in April!

Cool. I wish the credits would go faster, though. So I won't have to wait too long for the epilogue.




By the way, is Uma & Nox Mel's daughter from Lars Tenobor VIII or Edward? Not that it matters though... Just wondering
