Maybe, but it's awesome either way. The dialogue seems interesting, and I continue to be amazed with how you can make maps that don't seem too cramped or empty/just the right size, etc.

Believe me, when I first started experimenting with RMXP back when I was nine, my maps were nothing but big empty squares and were extremely ugly. I'm glad I improved. ![]() Demo shouldn't take too long now. Here's another screenshot just for fun: ![]()

I've found a suitable spot to cut the game, but I'm not sure if I should release a demo yet. After all, some dramatic things have happened, but the real issue hasn't really been shown completely.
Edited the first post's summary to better reflect the plot.

Ooooooh, the updated summary is very interesting. Makes me want the demo even more... XD
But I understand not wanting to release it yet. Release the demo whenever you feel is the best time for it. I can wait, and I'm sure others can. ^^

Scripting for the demo is all finished! Now I just need the last CG finished, and some testing, and it'll be ready. Stay tuned!

Edit: Just finished the demo! The story is awesome! Waah, I was disappointed when it ended. Some things I noticed is that the window screen sometimes shows up with no text in it. Also during Cole's and Ray's meeting Ray says something but "Cole" appears as name. Looking forward to the rest of the game :3 Good job!

Wow. Excellent demo! I just love your plot. So unique!
The only thing that bothered me was when Ray was running away from the castle, I tried to run into the treasury when the guard moved, thinking that there would be a secret passage or something. A little event there for Ray to say something like, "This is no time for venturing into the treasury!" might be nice. Or something like that. Oh! And, I noticed you have your enemies set on "Player Touch". So they only attack Ray if he bumps into them. If you want them to actually chase and be able to catch him, setting the events to "Event Touch" will do that. But that's really your choice. I LOVED the demo! Can't wait for the finished game! ![]()

Your plot is just so exciting, I want to play more! How long do you think the game is going to be? It's pretty great actually! Nice job!

Thanks, and as for that I'm not too sure yet. I do have the full plot planned out, but it'll take some time to put the RPG element into it and dump them all together.
