Seems to me he'd like to do things in his own time. Which is too slow for his mother.

Edward's never been 'power' hungry, so the idea that he just wants the kingdom doesn't gel. However, he has matured a lot, and seen what happens to "his" citizens under a tyrant, and he's ready to step up to the responsibility now, whereas he wasn't before.

I think Edward is silly at love, he seems foolish to choose bride.
Mel and Edward, they have a true friendship, they met at school, went to Ely Hapsbend stole the statue...Edward is Mel best friend and her natural-trouble-maker.6 months in school with Ed are the best days in her life.
When Mel discovered Ed is a prince, he admitted that he like Mel and wanted to have her life.
I think Ed will choose Mel.

Edward choosing Mel does not fulfil the "I wish I had your life" desire though - it would thrust Mel into Edward's lifestyle, not the other way around. And the incidents you're talking about happened within 6 months of them meeting. The whole adventure spans a couple of years, so there's a lot of time there for things to progress along several different paths

shaz, you tell me go to see Aislingyngaoi Pendragon familytree, I look at this tree and see Edward choose Stella (Stella Pendragon), Mel marries Lar Tenobar VII and they have 2 twin kids Uma Tenobar and Nox Tenobar.

i truly think that, through all of their adventures, edward really cared for mel all the way through, and the feeling was mutual. i mean, i just look at all the convos mel and eddie had throughout the game and I see how much eddie likes mel, and how much mel likes being herself around edward.
also, if mel was in danger, eddie would be the first to go help her out. not in a galahad "all women are helpless" kinda way (ugh) but in a "my best friend could die" kinda way. I never saw how eddie could fall for stella unless you forced him to. (except maybe when he saw her beautiful wings. then he just wants beauty. ugh again.)

^ you're mixing official canon with non official canon

rhen marrying dameon is official canon and what the AV series is going from.
Rhen marrying lars, while in the game, is not considered official canon.

As a player, you can play alternate ending but that's about it. Amanda is under no obligation to take fan majority as the canon (otherwise she'd have ditched rhen/dameon and went with rhen/lars long ago).

Also, i don't see what's so unrealistic about mel falling for Lars. while it's definitely a surprise, there's nothing unrealistic about it. What would have been unrealistic if she fell for ulf, stella, or gyendal (not a word agas XD).

why wouldn't her falling for ulf be a surprise? or (if she is indeed gay ) stella? they are both unexpected, so why wouldn't they classify as a surprise as well as unrealistic?

Let's wait aveyond 4, If one of adventure team members is a member of Pendragons. All of us will know Mel or Stella would marry Ed

@pink: stella/mel are unrealistic because (No matter how much I fanboy otherwise) the games are 100% straight couples.

Ulf/Mel- mm probably because I think of Ulf as this old guy. And mel as a young kid. um pedo-orc much? lol.

i actualy finished the game 2 times. yep in 2 days twice. the second was a test to see. kinda confused on quotes they would say but i tested it in second round
