So we were at school, and I came from the bath and wanted to enter the class room. This woman was standing there, I was breathing on her back head, I said her to get on a side and let me pass,and no answer came at all. I waited about a minute, she was still standing and not allowing anyone pass, so I pushed her aside. Due to that, she slapped me, I slammed her back, and she started pulling my hair from the beg, and saying me to "knee down and ask for forgiveness". I, of course, not being able to believe what I heard, I stood up, being half down, with my hair still in her hands, wanting to hit her in the face,but then the image of my parents came in mind, and I didn't want to create them problems, I just stood up, growling, until the teacher came. After that she released my hair, starting to pull lies about me attacking her first, and of course, the teacher put the guilt on me. At that point I could simply beat her to a bloody pulp, but then I thought, "Why?", I would ruin my family, my self esteem if I would beat her, but I couldn't accept either the fact that she tried to manipulate me to do that, to lower myself in front of her, and step on myself and my pride by doing that, was something I just couldn't accept.

This is an example of my school's arrogance dose, and of people which think they deserve to be allowed to do anything. Do you have any practical solution to clear those off?

I think you acted irrationally. You shouldn't have pushed the lady aside, no matter if you had waited a minute.

You should have tried talking. Starting a fight doesn't solve anything.

She did not want to talk, she isn't a lady, she's an year younger than me, and the people were demanding her to step aside and she was just standing there. That period of month is excluded, please, as my mom brought the argue. She wasn't. Her friends affirmed that.

It doesn't matter if she was older or younger than you. It doesn't give you a right to just hit her. If anything just go around her, or take another route.

I agree with Mopiece. The woman was behaving rather badly, and her lying was a rather mean thing to do, but you shouldn't have started a fight. You need to be patient, and try to talk things through. Maybe she was standing there for a good reason.

Also, maybe she didn't hear you. I know sometimes I go off in my own little world and don't hear people talking to me, especially if they are behind me. I'm really soft-spoken, so sometimes I have to say 'Excuse me' three or four times to other people so they hear me.

Even if she did hear you, you had no right to shove her, no matter how mad you are. Taking the high ground would have been better. And, technically, you started it, as she did not slap you until you shoved her. It doesn't matter if she was ignoring you and being an all-around... 'pain', you were the one who got physical first.

If you need to be in the class, a teacher would tell her to go away anyways..she didn't lie when she said you started attacking....

Don't feel like we're all against you Kenneth. At least you did the right thing. You just came here to vent, and I totally understand! People like that are irritating. To be honest, I might have tried to move past her as well, but not pushed her.

I agree with the others: you started the fight by shoving her aside. That's more than enough reason for her to respond back so technically, the teacher was right to punish you for starting the fight.

She may have been baiting you (I can't tell because there's not enough information, preferably from one that wasn't part of the fight. Perhaps she was off in her own little world or was hard of hearing), but you were the one who took the bait.

Cuz even if she was a dude in this case, I would still say kenneth started the fight because he responded by physical force.

rappelling in through the window would totally have been a better response.

Unfortunately, it's part of the many stereotypes in this society that women are always the victims of everything (regardless the fact that most domestic abuse is with women the attacker, etc etc etc.)

Kenneth, you still shouldn't have put a hand on her period. Unless you're acting in self defense, you really have no right to put a hand on someone else without their consent.

Maybe if you waited and the teacher saw that the girl was blocking you (and, if I'm not mistaken, the many other people also telling her to move), the girl would actually get reprimanded.

Ken, to me it doesn't sound like you actually did anything wrong until after getting slapped.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, peoples' prejudices will say the woman had a right to attack a guy no matter what's actually going on (& without actually bothering to find out either)

The only defense I know (if it's not like, a gf or close friend or whatever) is to do your best not to react. If she slaps you, it may as well have been a tree branch getting blown around in the wind. If she's the only one who's angry, she'll seem the irrational one. People might still try to blame you but they won't be able to justify it for long.
(plus, it's a decent way to get back at her since having slapped you will only have resulted in increasing her own irritation)

Here is sumthin really amusin to do...i do it a lot...go to her nd apologize 4r ur actions.i.e. slighty moving frm ur path....nd then see her reaction.
U may nt like it nd probably many of the people around u won't....Bt i remember this particular person in my high school....a real dirtbag...he would sell his mother if tht meant tht he would get out of trouble...or so i thought....we gt into a fight he came frm behind nd shoved me....i wz pissed about nt gettin A+ in my paper(i wz doin o-lvls then)...regardless whether it wz an accident or nt i hit him square on the nose....nd then the ferocious mindless swearing started...he wouldn't hit me cause he wz a coward or so i though....nd i din't hit him cause well i hate fightin...

point is mistake wz mine i shouldn't have hit him whther he shoved me puposely or nt. However the next day i went nd apologized to him... nd went to the teacher nd explaineed the plight....because i had a gud record they didn't call my parents...

However i started standin up 4r him...to make it up to him....he the one day gt pissed nd told me to get lost nd sweared sayin sumthin bad about my mother.....

Normally i dn't take kindly to tht...bt i noticed a wound on his hand...a nasty wound...like sumone takes a lighted cigarette nd stuffs it deep into ur hand.....I asked him wat happened? this wz followed by more swearing....i grabbed both his hands nd asked him wat wz wrong nd i wz there 4r him as a friend....

4r years he had acted like a total jerk bt ryt then suddenly he jst melted away nd lifted up his sleeve...nd showed me burn marks on his arm....i asked him who did this....i though he self inflicted them....He didn't reply said sumthin about a stove nd jst rejected talkin to me....

Later on he told me it wz his father....i ofcourse did nt buy this as child abuse wz new to me....i of course said i believed him nd he then started to sit with me in the classes in the later days to cum nd he turned out to be a gud guy after all....

During our A-lvls his dad gt arrested 4r importin drugs nd child abuse....he wz of course takin away...nw he is doin BBA honours...
