this issue may just be because of my operating system (64 bit windows 7) but I've noticed that attempting to go into the menu at certain times causes AP to crash. The biggest one is when I'm trying to get rich by stealing stuff from enemies. I attack with the other characters, and hit escape when it's jack's turn but if devon kills the enemy, the game crashes when I hit escape for jack. (which usually happens before I realize the enemy is dead)

And devon is my strongest member by far, in terms of attack power, so he's the one to kill the enemy at least 2 times out of 3 if it's not a boss.

I'm pretty sure that's not the operating system. That sounds like an issue that AP has always had, no matter the operating system.

I think the scripts used in AP are so customized, that the whole setup of everything working together with the right timing is quite fragile.

I remember when walking off the edge of a map and the map moving to the next scene, you couldn't press ESC for a few seconds after that, or the game would crash.

AP can't handle too many things going on at once.
