Right, so you guys must be thinkin'..."Yeah Right!
Another RPG Game. What's special?"

Well, here's what's special:

Enkhertu not only consists of RPG Maker tilesets, but also those of RPG Maker 2000 and VX.
It also has monsters from 2000 and VX.

An', (to clear doubts) Its FREE.

The story aint quite clear in my skull, and since the game is in its infancy, suggestions are welcome.

Gameplays like more than 80+++ does NOT make your game sounded interesting. Your storyline is... :/

and I didn't even see one

I suggest that you use original resources, its not hard to make character sprites. You can use a generator or frankenspriting.

and oh course,make like me.
I mean I think I searched a lot of sites with resources.Give them credit and use their resources.Oh and I think is a bad ideea to combine rmxp with rmvx and the older one.Becuz,if you know only rmvx and 200 match.Rmxp is different.And of course it is free,becuz you could sell it,but id it wasn't intresrting and if it doesn't have something cool,nobody will buy it.

If you want people to play your game, you should make a storyline and post it, tell what's your game about and features.
I won't recommend using the RMXP and the RMVX with the RM2K, just use the RTP only.

Okay! Righ' here's da story:

There're 2 worlds(rm2k,rmxp). The king of rm2k wants to get the Enkhertu crystal to trap the rmxp king and take over rmxp world. He sends two of his subordinates. They get da crystal and he throws 'em out(betrays).
Meanwhile, the king of the underworld wants to attack the king of rm2k 'cause he feels sll dark reealms shud be under him.
An (as usual)ordinary guy sets out to make a difference, is joined by the disgruntled subs(later) and a general from the undead army.
He saves the rmxp king by going into the crystal(rmvx) and restores him they sneak into rm2k world and kill the king. The underwiorld king is thwarted. All's well that ends well.:-)

Ps: they also meet other guys/gals.

hmmm...that would certainly be different...

but i'm not fully sure how well it would work. seems to me that you might have to have two games, one made with RMXP and one made with RM2kK and RMVX if you're using that too. sounds potentially confusing and difficult. they all use different shapes, sizes and styles of stuff. i've used RM2K or RM2K3 stuff with VX, but a, i can't remember which it was, and b, it looked wierd, and c, that still leaves the problem of getting 2K and VX resources to work in XP

but if you know how to make it work, go for it.

I don't think LivingEffigy is using all the RPG Maker programs to create the game; those are just the names of the different worlds within the game.

Kind of weird, but why use the software's name for the worlds?

I wouldn't be surprised if you're out of ideas for name but at least make a unique one other than these.

@Argoyle: You're wrong buddy, I am using the software names

@Kinnison: I have an excellent imagination(ahem). The names are infinite: Krynon, Shavlarr, Drasinia, Falkidsor, Maytinbrik, Firikhion, Bransidior, etc.,etc.(I've spontaneously woven out the names)
I am jus' thinking of the right names.
Hence the software names, since i've decided which tileset I should use for which world.

you must have some serious patience too. i hate making my own tilesets.

I'm trying to imagine how this is all going to work. sounds pretty cool, but it's kind of difficult for me to wrap my mind around. maybe that's my cold disabling my brain XD

(PS: you may find yourself hired to come up with place names for me. the best ones i've come up with are Arcvale, Aeirdryn and...wow, i can't even remember what the last one was >.< Areita, that was the last one.)

(PPS: only 996 posts to go until you can formally become a necromancer )

close enough for me. that's all i can manage, other than changing colors and such nonsense. but yes, equally cumbersome.

how do rm2k autotiles work? i know VX is autotile-based, but in xp, you can only have 5 autotiles per map...unless you plan to do it the long, annoying way of doing the room bounderies, if you will, by hand (like all the cave tilesets...*stabs cave tilesets then raises* hate those things XD) . so best of luck to you with making that work...

the more i think about it, the more complicated it becomes and the more i'm amazed at your ambition XD
