Also, I'm pretty sure that parents there would make the situation very awkward and uncomfortable. A date generally is suppose to be you+person thing. Not a you+person+parents+his/herparents+anyone else who feels like butting in dinner.

I tried it before.
Mid chat I said screw it, I linked a download link for TS3 and we had an actual chat. We didn't' go on a date but we did become gaming buddies.

I've even gone on a date through a site. It ended up being like... have you ever been on a nostalgia thread? Where you talk about things you remember and miss? Yeah the whole time it was like that where we just reminisced about the good old gaming days.
