Basic Story Overview (Chapter 1's story) UPDATED 2/19/11
A 17 year old girl named Alley has dream. She really wants to be a hero when she grows up. She has little experience but much potential. She has been rejected from many, many schools for unknown reasons. There is one school left, Alley has dreamed on going there since she was little.But thats only the start of her journey. Alley the last hope, can she save the elements? The underworld is closing in on the world of light. Can she stop it? Find out in Windy Days. No release day set.

Info:Alley is very smart, somewhat strong. She gets scared easy. She dreams of have a heroic title someday. Still is training to become stronger and hopes make her dream come true.

Info: Brian lives in Heeling Town, a close childhood of Alley. He is a somewhat talented swordsman. He recently finished schooling is ready for adventure. He is very cocky, he has a habbit of mindlessly jumping into things. He hates thiefs, when he was 10 he was a victim of a big break-in.

Info: The princess Of Casper Empire but she good in battle. Later revealed she is more than just a princess. She's on a mission to find "chosen one" Ive, the old wise one, requests. She is a very sweet good talker, she can make anyone do almost anything. Is quite charming, very difficult to turn down her. Many males are effected by this, including Arkon. Ara

Class: Swordsman
Info:Not much is revealed about him. Arkon is a swordsman, son of a pirate. Not a very good one it seems.Arkon comes with you for two reasons. 1. He wants to travel the world and get stronger in the meantime. 2. To closer to Airia. He is cocky beyond belief. He claims that he'll do anything for Airia. Lives in Casper Empire though he has been traveling place to place his entire life.

Female, 20's
Enchantress
Info: Valhara is a caring, nice, helpful person but on the inside she is very wicked and at times a sick sense of humor. She loves nothing more than to put love hexes on people and mess with peoples heads or in her words, have some "fun". She won't join you right off the back, you will have to do a certain quest, to impress her. You can trade her out of the party for her sister Vanessa if you wish. (You can't have both) In battle she is pretty much worthless when it comes to melee. Her magic is mostly status effects. Like sleep, confused, poison and can be very useful when it comes to bosses. She is very strong even though she is still a novice. She doesn't learn magic by leveling. Some bookselfs have books that contain spells. There are at least 20 in the game.

Vanessa Leone
Female, 20's
Mage
Info: She has a sister named Valhara. She is just plain evil, mean and a hot tempered. She only join s the party just to show how much better than everyone else she is. Ara just can't stand her. She along the journey she learns to be less self-centered and her true feeling and emotions are revealed. In battle she has some very effective magic spells. She few spells by leveling but most will be spells bought. Her magic is all offensive.

Alley starts of as a student but as she does big quests or deeds, she can unlock titles such as a healer or even a dragon slayer! Each title gives her diffrent abilities. For example, a healer will learn many effective healing spells and few offensive.

Ooo, RM2K? That's rare. The forest looks rather boring, though. Might want to spice it up a little bit.

I know, I have ALOT of room to improve. The forest is pretty empty, and only 2 maps. Gosh, I got lazy.

Well yesterday I fixed glitchs and playtested the first 15 minutes I got done.

Today I got some bad dialogue to polish, my mapping could be better in a couple maps, add more maps to the forest...
So yeah, I got a lot to work with.

It looks nice, but you should either lower the title a bit or change the colour, because it's hard to read the way it is now.

Today I bought RPG Maker XP. No, i'm not changing format, just saying my next game will be XP

Updates: I didn't do much today. Tomorrow i'll be finishing my new maps, hopfully have some screenshots ready, my biggest map SUCKS. It's totally empty and boring, I've got work on it.
Hopefully be Thursday i'll be fixing done fixing and fixing. I added some character info in the first post. Whew, what a project!

I finished the first boss battle! I uploaded on YT!

I've made steady progress and I might release a demo THIS WEEK!!
If you complete everything (2 opinional quests) it should be about 10-20 minutes.
I got some last minute changes to do and I will release my demo. Maybe even tommorow!

I was going to split the game into chapters and I finished chapter 1 and in a few days, will be released. The first demo is only half of it. The 1st chapter will take you about 30-45 minutes to do if you do all the quests and explore and talk to everyone.

The demo will be delayed a little because I got LOT of work to do.

I haven't touched the project in ages but I should finish the 1st chapter tonight or tommorow.

I'm thinking of adding difficulty levels but that will wait for a while.

I have finished scripting a journal system! When you get a quest or deed to do, when you select the journal in your inventory, it tells you everything you have to do. Exactly like Ahriman's P. This will be there in the next release, along with chapter 2.
It will be a while before that happens. I found some fatal glitchs. Don't leave Casper MTS. the way you came, you'll be stuck. (There is no reason to go back unless you need to heal.) A LOT of stuff was made better just so far. I feel as if chapter 2 has a solid plot unlike the 1st.
I am slowly shaping this crappy game into a worthy image it was meant to be.
You start to get into the real story shortly in chapter 2. Mainly focuses on Ara (Airia) and Alley .

This is very interesting. And an awesome boss battle, seems challenging, I love it. I like the newer maps too. Looking forward to this

This is the chapter where the world starts to open up alright. I'm finishing up the first two on the list. This chapter is going to take a LOOONNNG time indeed!

I'm finished with the Holy Temple and Coldkeep. Compared to my first two towns, Coldkeep looks really good. I filled it with lots of life, homes, quests and a hidden magic order. (It not too hard to find if you explore completely.)I am most likely going to update daily from now on.

Barlow Underpass is finished and Darkgate is almost complete. In a few days I will upload a couple of screenshots of these places. Darkgate is a city with quite a history behind it, I think it would keep you guys would be interested.

Unlike other towns, Darkgate has a lot to offer. A party member, the huge school for Enchantresses, historical sites, a ship for sale (you'll NEED to buy it), a famous healer (just guess what guild is there), ghosts.

So far I think yall' love chapter 2.

I have changed the names of a couple of places. Such as Anaka Plains.
This place is protected dearly by the village nearby. Hurting any of the life in it will get you imprisoned. This place has an ancient grave that's been there since the beginning, Avarun's grave. Remember this place, this becomes very important near the end.
Anaka Plains is finished, I'm going to do the water temple and the village, I haven't decided on a name yet.

I've been busy lately, I've got plenty to work with. I had a boring intro, I've made a new intro. I have finished about 50% of chapter 2. The ending of this chapter is the setup of HUGE twist! You get the complete plot Alley's quest in the beginning of chapter 3.

And if you noticed, I added 2 more characters to the thread!

Fun fact! This is a sequel to a game that I never made. The prequel got erased from my computer so I just started here. I might remake it someday. Airia, Vanessa, Valhara were originally from this game!

Whew! It's been nearly a week since a update. I'm not much further in the progress. I say chapter 2 is about 80% finished. I decided on the time the chapter ends, more quests, more treasure chests, mentioned earlier I added several features, you now can change your looks by purchasing dresses and outfits, polished, new intro, thick plot, many new characters, more interaction between characters and 8 new areas and towns to explore and help you on your journey.
