That village IS known for cooking and selling food made out of rats. According to that news, 1 kg of rats is worth about $4. Yeah... so... Mel could totally make a decent amount of money actually working as rat-catcher there

No way, because Vietnamese Dong-gold exchange rate is like 1 ounce of gold to 34,734,619.45 Dong (and like 1 ounce to USD 1,661.93). So I'd say it's a poor investment if she sells them in Vietnam since she lives on Aia, where even the simplest loaf of bread costs 5 Gold Pennies (or 15, depending on which game you're playing a.k.a. inflation effect) XD I mean, she's got to sell more than 400kg to get even 1 gold penny (assuming for simplicity sake that 1 Aian gold penny = 1 gold ounce) XD
Jokes aside, wow, they almost look like mini roast pork. ALMOST XD

Eh, when I said she'd make good money, I meant if she lived THERE in Canh Hui village. Not in Aia. Exchange rate with fantasyland = confusing --> I don't want to think about it

@theone: Considering how many people are totally a-okay with eating rats so long as they think it's beef and chicken... Meh.
Also, at least it's cooked. Not as bad as eating monkeys' brain from live monkeys Chinese people: we are weird and proud of it.
