I have been looking at some wiki pages on planets and came across of planets I wanted to know more about like Bellerophon, Osiris, Kepler-22b, etc. The first 2 I already knew they where Hot Jupiters (planets like Jupiter way too close to their star (one is actually inside the sun's corona (Osiris). I also already knew there where many other planets orbiting pulsars (not such a good place for a life baring planet to be). Most Hot Jupiters orbiting stars take about 2days 15hr to 4.5 days. When I heard that for the first time I was thinking 'What the... Is there a race in space? You have to be kidding me. Shesh!'. That later proved planetary migration. Good grief my eyes actually popped out of my head.

So you just wanna talk about the planets in this thread?

Yeah, are we simply discussing different planets? It seems like you're almost talking about life in outer space (if this is the case, then I'm totally game for discussion, since I'm watching Ancient Aliens at this very moment lol).

Ancient Aliens? You mean that show that yells Aliens on every structure and assumes that humans weren't capable of anything?

By yell, I meant that they claim every old structure was made by aliens. It's possible but I think it's really underestimating the ability of humans especially since there's no proof of any aliens

This topic is actually not about aliens but Exoplanets that are bizarre, rule breakers, tease the rules of evolution, and Super-Earths.

What rules of evolution are you talking about?

Last I checked, evolution theories revolved around Organics (bacteria, monkeys, humans, etc.) not planets.

As for planets: I find Nomad Planets fascinating. Planets that were kicked out of their original system, floating around, than get captured by a rival star system.
