Hi,
Wondering here, is it possible to fix up the chat so you can toggle a dinging sound whenever someone posts (toggle so you don't have to be bothered by it either)? Anything will do, but it's hard to keep up with it with no announcement or the like!) Moved to Site Help. ~Mopiece

I think it's fine as it's now, though. You could just check on it regularly on a tab since it doesn't need to refresh there and there.

but sometimes you get distracted and you forget to check, for these people the sound might be useful
